Unprofessional doctor made my mental health worse

During a recent visit to Dr. Abdulqadir Ahmed-Nur, whom I was seeing for the first time, I encountered an uncomfortable situation. Upon returning to the clinic due to a prescription error, the doctor apologized while touching my hand in a manner I found entirely inappropriate and unwarranted. This incident has significantly impacted my mental health, exacerbating both my existing depression and anxiety related to my GP appointments. I feel compelled to acknowledge that Nurse Miss Misodzi Rukanda and Dr. Rahman, with whom I have previously consulted, have always maintained the highest standards of professionalism and demonstrated genuine compassion.

Abandoned by doctor without care or explanation

Despite following the recommended treatment plan from a medical consultant and having several consultations with general practitioners to establish the medication, the GP abruptly ceased prescribing my medication without providing any rationale or engaging in a dialogue, effectively leaving me without essential treatment. Verges on professional misconduct.

Doctors good locums great staff make me scream

First things first: 1. Dr Yurita is skilled in his profession. 2. I've had minimal interaction with Dr Edoman, but our brief communications through digital and phone channels have been adequate. 3. Temporary doctors are invariably a welcome sight due to their comprehensive approach. I've been intending to compose this review for an extended period following nearly every medical center visit... The front desk personnel are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and I'm completely FRUSTRATED with them!!! While Gill is somewhat more pleasant to interact with, Pauline is my absolute nemesis. She must have significant hearing difficulties, WITHOUT A DOUBT! I CONSTANTLY have to reiterate my details multiple times when she requests my birth date and name. It's almost like she's deliberately antagonizing me with the frequency of her errors. So far, she's provided me with incorrect test containers and accidentally scheduled an appointment for an entirely different patient. Her vocal volume is completely inappropriate and jeopardizes patient privacy. Anyone, whether seated in the waiting area or within earshot, could effortlessly document patient information while she's loudly broadcasting personal details. Frequently, you can detect loud arguments and boisterous laughter in the background during phone calls, which I consider entirely unprofessional.

Worst medical reception ever terrible patient experience

The front desk staff member was shockingly unprofessional, displaying zero compassion for patients in need. Her demeanor was not just unpleasant but downright hostile, which is completely unacceptable, particularly when interacting with individuals who are unwell. The reception service was abysmal, with the employee even going so far as to suggest a patient seek care elsewhere. Her complete lack of customer service skills is appalling, and she absolutely should not be employed in this role.

Avoid this clinic at all costs. The front desk staff claimed my appointment was scheduled, but it was never actually booked. Additionally, my standard prescription medication refill was suddenly denied without any communication or explanation. I'm absolutely livid about their complete lack of professionalism and apparent medical negligence. Patients would be far better off seeking healthcare elsewhere.

Unprofessional clinic with dismissive and unhelpful staff

I've consistently encountered negative interactions at this clinic. Both the staff and physicians have been consistently discourteous towards me. I sought medical advice regarding my hair loss, but the doctor dismissively refused to examine my condition, sarcastically remarking, "You seem to have plenty of hair on your head". In contrast, when I consulted a physician in Canada, I received a proper diagnosis of alopecia areata and was prescribed appropriate treatment.

Terrible healthcare ignored my serious health concerns

I relied on this medical practice throughout my youth, repeatedly seeking help for various symptoms, only to be dismissed repeatedly. Fortunately, I relocated and found a new general practitioner. Since then, I've been diagnosed with four autoimmune disorders and a congenital heart condition. My current healthcare providers are appalled that I endured years of undiagnosed health issues, resulting in irreversible damage. This surgery either labeled me a hypochondriac or showed complete indifference to my health concerns. Jill was the sole redeeming quality of this embarrassingly incompetent establishment. If you value your well-being and desire serious medical attention, steer clear of this practice. At 36, I'm now on lifelong immunosuppression, managing multiple conditions that were overlooked for years. Despite experiencing symptoms since my teenage years—including unexplained fainting (later identified as POTS), painful muscle inflammation (myositis), and untreated thyroid issues (Hashimoto's)—they consistently ignored my legitimate health concerns.

Exceptional gp care despite nhs challenges

Without a doubt, this is the most exceptional NHS general practitioner I've encountered. Naturally, the entire public healthcare infrastructure suffers from severe financial constraints, overwhelming pressure, and limited resources, which inevitably leads to some shortcomings. However, I've consistently managed to secure a consultation within a seven-day window, or even obtain an urgent appointment on the same or following day. Throughout recent years, I've received accurate diagnoses and treatments for a wide array of complex medical conditions, and have been appropriately referred to specialist physicians when necessary. I want to especially highlight Dr Yurrita, who is simply outstanding! My heartfelt gratitude goes to The Medical Centre for their exceptional care.

Terrible nhs care saved by surgery abroad

I won't be returning to the NHS, particularly this clinic, after struggling with a chronic blocked nose for years without relief. I consulted Dr. Nur and Eurita repeatedly, and they consistently prescribed medications that proved ineffective. They never once suggested surgical intervention. In contrast, when I traveled to Yemen, a less developed country, I consulted a local GP who immediately recognized the need for surgery and scheduled the procedure on my first visit. More than 11 months post-surgery, I'm experiencing significant improvement and haven't had a single instance of nasal congestion. Despite not being wealthy, I'm now prepared to invest in private healthcare or seek treatment abroad for any future serious medical concerns (though I hope such situations won't arise).
