A young man working on reception was very friendly and had a lovely manner. He smiled and helped put me at ease during my first visit to the surgery. I then saw a doctor who was fabulous – very professional yet showed genuine empathy and asked thorough questions to understand why I had come in. Following an excellent consultation, she arranged blood tests, stool samples and a hospital referral. I had previously been waiting over a year for an appointment with my previous doctor and felt they lacked empathy and compassion towards my needs as a patient. Both the receptionist and the doctor made my visit considerably less stressful, and I would say the doctor provided outstanding care.
