I initiated a blood test two months ago due to health changes, only to discover the laboratory had misplaced the results, necessitating three separate blood draws and a month-long wait for any findings. Medical professionals subsequently informed me that my prolactin levels were three times higher than normal, with a potential diagnosis of a non-cancerous brain tumour communicated via a phone consultation. The same doctor recommended I undergo a peripheral vision examination while awaiting my endocrinology appointment, suggesting this could immediately reveal the presence of a tumour. Since December 6th, I have been attempting to secure a medical consultation. Upon contacting the hospital today, I learned my appointment had been unilaterally extended to the end of January - a change about which I was never notified. My entire family is now living under significant emotional strain, uncertain about my potential medical condition. Their service approach is extremely unprofessional, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. After two months, I remain completely uninformed about my health status, with medical professionals subjecting me to considerable psychological distress without conclusive information.

Negligent care puts my child's health at risk

A frustrating encounter with the general practitioner at this clinic. When my toddler's temperature soared above 39°C, the physician merely suggested administering paracetamol and advised going to the emergency room if the fever returned within thirty minutes. After enduring seven grueling hours of my child suffering with a high fever, she was finally prescribed an antibiotic - a medication the doctor could have provided initially. The entire consultation was utterly pointless and ineffective.

Disappointing decline from once great medical practice

In the past, this medical practice was outstanding when Dr. Omar Shareef was in charge. As a pancreas transplant patient, my care was impeccably managed by the clinic and Dr. Shareef. However, after experiencing Covid twice and developing anaemia, I'm being extremely generous with a two-star rating. I haven't consulted Dr. Seth in a considerable time, instead seeing unfamiliar associate physicians who are unacquainted with my medical history. Working as a building surveyor, I experience dizzy spells when standing or crouching to document notes while inspecting multi-storey Georgian buildings. My transplant surgeon recently communicated with my doctor recommending a return to the original medication dosage, yet this practice appears unaware of this instruction. This seems like a significant health and safety concern, especially since I previously raised concerns about my lightheadedness before the anaemia diagnosis. I've completely lost faith in this practice, having been scheduled for a telephone consultation on August 2nd with yet another unknown associate doctor. I previously held this surgery in high regard and am certainly not attempting to play any special needs card. Before becoming a surveyor, I worked as a site carpenter.

Regrettably, the quality has deteriorated. I've been with this practice for six years, and the service has significantly declined over the past two years. While most of the doctors are decent, the reception and appointment process have become extremely frustrating. One receptionist, in particular, is consistently unhelpful and makes patients feel like an inconvenience, often shifting blame for their own errors. Booking a standard appointment with your doctor now takes 2-3 weeks. For urgent same-day appointments, they don't actually let you book a slot, instead promising to call you at an unspecified time (completely unworkable for anyone employed). Even telephone consultations are handled poorly - they provide a vague 6-hour window for potentially calling, which is equally impractical for working individuals. To make matters worse, locum nurses have been incompetent, incorrectly taking blood samples, which means wasting another workday to repeat the process. I've reached my limit. I'm switching to a more professional medical practice.

The receptionists Gilly, Jessica, and Nancy are truly exceptional - they are incredibly thorough, courteous, attentive, and compassionate.
