Rude staff make this place a customer service nightmare

The front desk staff here are completely full of themselves, acting like they're some sort of untouchable saviors... Whenever a customer raises a concern, they instantly dismiss you as just another bothersome individual. If they could only pause and imagine how they would feel if their own relatives were addressed so condescendingly or handled with such blatant disregard. They really need to take a hard look in the mirror and make some serious improvements to their attitude and service.

Communication breakdowns and a clear deficit in understanding are glaringly apparent at reception. If you're going to make a claim, ensure it's absolutely accurate instead of propagating misinformation! Additionally, whenever a patient attempts to connect with management, they're conveniently "unavailable" (though in reality, they're present but deliberately avoiding taking calls).

Terrible reception ruins an otherwise good medical visit

It breaks my heart to give just 2 stars, especially since the medical staff like the doctor and nurse are wonderful. However, the RECEPTIONIST is a complete nightmare! They are incredibly discourteous and lack basic professionalism. As the initial point of contact, they create an absolutely terrible first impression. I've encountered zero issues with the staff, from the receptionist to the doctors and manager. Everyone is courteous, and their phlebotomist and nurse Marjorie are consistently skilled and professional. We've had appointments with Dr. Chowdhury, Dr. Carrie, Dr. Subhani, and Dr. Sophia, all of which went smoothly. As long as you call precisely at 8am, you're guaranteed to secure an appointment without any trouble.

If you're unfortunate enough to have Dr. Azhar Sofia as your primary care physician, prepare for a nightmare experience. She's consistently unavailable, consistently tardy for scheduled phone consultations, and demonstrates zero respect for patient communication. As a partner in the practice, she seems to operate with complete disregard for patient care, leaving me waiting months for critical test results and forcing me to repeatedly follow up. Her approach to patient management involves dumping responsibilities onto reception staff without any personal accountability or patient notification. In my 23 years of healthcare experiences, this is unquestionably the most disappointing and frustrating medical practice I've encountered, ultimately compelling me to seek care elsewhere.

Frustrating delays and poor communication at clinic

Some of the receptionists are quite unfriendly, though a few were pleasant. The doctors were genuinely kind, but the administrative process was incredibly frustrating. I needed a urology follow-up for my 2-year-old every 4-5 months. After moving to Luton and registering, I immediately requested a referral. Five months later, no referral had been made. They promised to expedite it urgently, yet another three months passed with no appointment. I persistently called for four consecutive days, spending over an hour on hold and often remaining 12th in the queue. Eventually, after making a significant complaint, I was granted a face-to-face appointment with promises to chase things up. Ultimately, I received a letter from L&D urology scheduling a clinic appointment for the last week of April. I initially requested an appointment for my toddler in October 2021 and finally received one in the last week of April 2023. This delay is unacceptable for a child with a serious health condition!
