Terrible service and unhelpful staff at clinic

The physicians are generally acceptable, though some appear to have lost their compassion. However, actually getting an appointment is challenging. The front desk staff come across as discourteous, uncooperative, and frequently sarcastic. It seems entirely reasonable to wait an entire week for a medical consultation when you're convinced you're seriously unwell.

Dangerous doctor and terrible scheduling nightmare

Scheduling an appointment within a short timeframe is extremely challenging. Dr. Swain, one of the physicians, demonstrates a shocking level of medical incompetence. She recklessly prescribed medication to my partner, fully aware of his known allergies, which nearly resulted in a fatal outcome. She has repeated this dangerous behavior with me as well. Moreover, despite patients consistently enduring wait times of at least 25 minutes during appointments, the clinic rigidly cancels your slot if you arrive just 3 minutes late.

Due to NHS funding constraints, the reception team occasionally redirects patients to pharmacies instead of scheduling doctor consultations. From my perspective, individuals with minor ailments like a common cold shouldn't be occupying medical appointments, yet some patients continue to attempt doing so.

Heartless receptionists turn away desperate child

I'm grateful I'm not a patient at this medical facility. The front desk staff are incredibly discourteous! When my 4-year-old daughter urgently needed a bathroom, I politely requested to use their facilities, but was abruptly told to go to the Sainsbury's toilets instead!! This is a small child we're talking about!! Fortunately, the receptionists at my regular clinic are far more compassionate and would never callously refuse a mother and child like that. These women could seriously benefit from some basic customer service and human decency training, in my opinion!

Terrible doctor dismisses serious health concerns

Utterly disastrous medical care. My partner discovered a concerning lump on her lower arm that was painful, especially given her family's cancer history. Anxious, she secured an emergency appointment for 5:30pm. We arrived early at 5:15pm and waited. By 5:45pm, despite an empty waiting room, no doctor had called us. My partner approached reception, and shortly after, Dr Punsisi Burns saw her, with me accompanying her. After a brief three-and-a-half-minute examination where she merely touched the lump, she dismissively declared it wasn't cancer, claiming it was just a skin cyst that would likely be ignored. Her nonchalant attitude was shocking - no further investigation, no blood tests, no substantive advice. Her casual diagnosis that it might disappear or persist was completely unprofessional. Seeking a second opinion, we consulted the neighboring pharmacist who suggested it could potentially be gangrene and advised monitoring. I'm deeply concerned it might be a lymphoma that could develop into cancer if left untreated - a scenario requiring immediate steroid intervention. This surgery consistently demonstrates incompetence, with only a rare few practitioners showing genuine medical competence. The overall standard of service, advice, and treatment is appallingly substandard. I strongly caution anyone against registering here - you're better off consulting online resources or finding alternative medical providers. Having witnessed multiple instances of physicians' apparent ignorance, I'm genuinely questioning their professional qualifications and medical expertise.

Terrible service and communication from front desk staff

The reception team will fabricate stories just to dismiss you. They feed you whatever placates you momentarily, but the next staff member contradicts their earlier statements entirely!!! When urgent assistance is required, they deliberately prolong the process as much as possible. If you can somehow navigate past these obstructive employees and actually reach the physician, you'll finally receive competent care

Delayed diagnosis nearly cost me my life

I visited my doctor, Dr. Anna Swain, due to concerning symptoms including paleness, low energy, fatigue, breathlessness, and black stool. She recommended blood tests, scheduling my next appointment a week later and a follow-up two weeks after that to assess my progress. However, just two days post-consultation, I collapsed in the shower, with my partner fortunately finding me. I feared I was experiencing a heart attack, and upon calling an ambulance, discovered I was suffering from a severe internal bleed caused by duodenal and stomach ulcers. The specialist at QMC confirmed that my initial symptoms warranted an immediate hospital referral, which Dr. Swain failed to provide. This delay could have resulted in a far more critical outcome. While I'm grateful to the QMC staff for their care, I will never again book an appointment with Dr. Anna Swain, as her handling of my case appears to constitute potential medical malpractice. I strongly advise patients to be cautious and seek second opinions when necessary to ensure proper medical attention and diagnosis.

Terrible medical care that could have killed someone

This medical facility is a complete disaster. When an insured patient arrives with a simple cough and mucus, you'd expect compassionate nurses and staff. Sadly, that wasn't the reality on the morning of April 4th, 2016. A patient seeking treatment or at least a diagnosis was met with the dismissive statement, "We don't know what's wrong with you." They promptly slapped a bill to her name and sent her away, without even mentioning the nearby urgent care center that might have actually provided some help. The child was so ill that she nearly fainted and could have potentially died. This isn't a medical center - it's just a building with walls and a door, staffed by an incompetent and shockingly unprofessional team. Avoid this place at all costs. Do not waste your time or money here.

Worst medical centre ever terrible patient care

My gravely ill companion phoned me, weeping, after enduring a nightlong ordeal of persistent coughing and vomiting, explaining that she sought assistance at this facility but was callously rejected. The personnel claimed they were unable to provide any aid. I'm perplexed as to how this establishment can label itself a medical centre when offering medical support seems beyond their capabilities. One might as well expect empty shelves at a grocery store. If the rating system permitted, I would assign zero stars. Utterly shameful.
