Bad!

Long-term patients treated better than new ones

It appears that established patients or those with private arrangements may have a better experience. Since relocating to the area, I registered with this practice but have found little to be positive about so far. My former GP had prescribed medication that I was taking regularly, however I have now been informed that this will not continue under the current arrangement, or alternatively I would need to attend monthly appointments with a nurse to access it.

Receptionists go the extra mile to help

I have been attending this practice since 2004 following an experience at my previous surgery. The reception team are consistently helpful and go out of their way to assist patients, and I visit frequently. One of the clinicians tends to run behind schedule, though this appears to be due to the thorough attention given to each patient. Another clinician is approachable and demonstrates good understanding, making consultations straightforward, and has consistently responded promptly when action has been required. I attend regularly for my own appointments and also accompany both parents to their visits. I appreciate the efficiency of the practice in handling various tasks including telephone responses, correspondence, specialist communication, referrals, and other patient requests.

Friendly staff and quick appointment booking

The practice staff were very welcoming and approachable. Scheduling appointments was straightforward and didn't involve lengthy waiting times. The care and assistance provided throughout my visit was excellent. All of my concerns and queries were thoroughly addressed.

On each occasion I have visited this practice, my experiences have been positive regardless of whether I was seeing clinical staff or other healthcare professionals. The reception team have also been particularly pleasant and supportive.

Receptionist's phone manner needs improvement

The receptionist could have been a bit more cheerful during phone conversations, as I often feel uneasy when calling in. I'm considering switching to a different practice because of this. That said, the clinical staff have been wonderful and very pleasant!
