The A&E staff were fantastic, providing a clear diagnosis of sciatica and musculoskeletal pain, and prescribing medication that significantly alleviated my discomfort. They also committed to writing to my GP, recommending an increase in my current medication - exactly what I had initially requested from my GP, who had flatly refused, claiming it wouldn't be effective. Now, I feel hesitant to even approach my doctor again due to her previous unhelpful response, despite the fact that a hospital physician is recommending the very treatment I sought.

I endured an absolutely appalling consultation with Dr. Foster, which was so terrible that I've been compelled to file an official grievance. She is undoubtedly the most discourteous medical professional I've ever encountered. Upon discussing this experience with multiple individuals, I've discovered they've had remarkably similar encounters. My assessment is that she is profoundly unpleasant and exceptionally disrespectful in her interactions.

I understand the surgery is primarily conducting consultations via telephone due to pandemic protocols, but I've been attempting to schedule a repeat prescription for 48 hours without success. Although Google indicates specific operating hours, whenever I call, the phone lines remain unresponsive to patient inquiries. A few weeks back, I sought an in-person consultation, which was completely disregarded. The telephone representative I eventually spoke with seemed unprofessional and did not appear to be medically qualified, offering a dismissive and generalized response about my medication - claiming "all these medications cause hair loss and weight gain" - with absolutely no willingness to discuss potential alternative treatments or options.

That medical professional is terrible; she misdiagnosed my friend, claiming he had a chest infection when in reality he was suffering from lung cancer.

Three separate medical professionals assured my mom she was in good health during her consultations and home visits, even though she was experiencing severe breathing difficulties and had a constricted heart valve while awaiting surgery. Tragically, just over a week afterward, she passed away from cardiac collapse at RHH.

to be honest, these folks are really great... I relocated from Birmingham, and all I require is getting my prescriptions without the typical complications I used to experience back there. They're super accommodating - I just ring them when I'm running low, and they have a doctor's authorization ready for me by 5pm that same day. I haven't personally met the doctors yet, but they already seem significantly more efficient than the Birmingham physicians who would force me through endless bureaucratic hurdles and demand daily phone calls just to obtain the medication I absolutely depend on for survival.

Absolutely appalling medical care at this practice. The physicians were completely incompetent in identifying my daughter's tonsillitis, forcing me to seek alternative medical help. Even Dr. Daws failed to properly diagnose her condition. Ultimately, I had to take her to out-of-hours care, where she was finally prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis. I would much rather rely on out-of-hours services than trust these doctors. My confidence in Ridgeway Surgery has been completely shattered.

Negligent doctor led to tragic lung cancer diagnosis

Completely unacceptable! During the 18 months my father visited Dr. Spiller with persistent chest pains, she consistently dismissed his symptoms as a chest infection and repeatedly prescribed antibiotics. Only when she went on maternity leave did the replacing physician immediately order comprehensive tests, which revealed he had advanced lung cancer by that point. Her negligence was shocking, and she should absolutely not be permitted to practice medicine - her incompetence is outrageous!!!
