Nhs mental health support fails miserably again

I attempted to contact Dr Goel's office this morning, only to learn he's available Monday to Wednesday until noon. Seriously? After mentioning my mental health concern, the receptionist recommended connecting with the on-call doctor, Dr Rishi. I appreciated receiving a callback within 45 minutes. When I needed to follow up on our conversation, I called back, but the receptionist insisted on hearing detailed specifics about my query. I simply explained it was a continuation of my mental health discussion with Dr Rishi. During the callback, Dr Rishi seemed to be driving, with poor phone connection causing frequent disconnections. When I requested a transcript of our previous call, he dismissively remarked, "Oh, I thought you were suicidal..." To which I thought - well, I still am! With neither Dr Goel available nor Dr Rishi genuinely helpful, who exactly am I supposed to consult? The NHS feels like a complete farce! I called again, requesting any doctor actually present in the practice. Regarding my administrative query, the receptionist indicated a 28-day processing time - absolutely ridiculous. Having been with this practice for two years, I distinctly recall being asked to do a passport verification for online medical record access. When I highlighted this to the receptionist, she claimed no knowledge of my previous visit. However, I found an email from 15/10/2023 confirming my record access after passport verification a month earlier - yet I still cannot access anything! When I expressed my frustration, the receptionist accused me of being rude. After three phone calls and a year and a half of bureaucratic nonsense, I believe I'm entirely justified in my tone!

Appalling medical clinic. My encounters have been consistently terrible. I'm seeking a diagnostic scan due to suspecting a fracture in my hand, and they require 48 hours just to schedule a telephone consultation? I additionally requested anxiety medication and was completely ignored without any follow-up. I will definitely be switching healthcare providers. Their approach is utterly unprofessional. **Updated** they contacted me prematurely by an hour, causing me to miss the call, after which they made no subsequent attempt to reconnect.

Terrible service with rude and unprofessional staff

After moving to Hackney, I registered with this practice and quickly encountered unprofessional staff. The receptionists, particularly a young Asian receptionist named Omar, were consistently hostile. Omar would listen to music with headphones and give me aggressive, dirty looks. During a phone call, he was extremely rude and confrontational. Dr Ghoul was equally unpleasant, treating me poorly despite my being a patient seeking medical assistance. Even the manager, an Asian lady, demonstrated similar discourteous behaviors. Eventually, Omar provoked me, leading to an argument that resulted in my being banned from the GP. I want to emphasize that I am writing this review with complete honesty and integrity. I strongly advise others to seek healthcare elsewhere. The staff's conduct is shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful. It's appalling that the NHS employs individuals who abuse and mistreats patients, especially considering they are paid to provide a service. As an Asian person myself, I have no ulterior motive in sharing these experiences. These staff members should be reported for their misconduct. If possible, I would rate this practice zero stars. The practice deserves to be shut down and investigated for their unacceptable treatment of patients.

Exercise caution at this medical facility, where patients are made to feel inadequate for seeking medical attention! The front desk personnel display an appalling lack of professionalism, consistently confrontational and unwilling to engage in meaningful communication, quickly becoming irritated. One particular physician demonstrates an incredibly condescending attitude, showing clear prejudice when patients request additional medical perspectives. Despite my repeated concerns about prolonged antibiotic treatment for acne, I was persistently prescribed these medications. Only after extensive arguing and forceful advocacy was I finally referred to a dermatology specialist.
