Terrible receptionists ruin great doctors office experience

The doctors at this practice are exceptional, but the current reception staff are a complete disappointment. These receptionists lack basic professionalism and competence. They seem entirely untrained and unhelpful, giving the impression that they have no idea how to do their job properly. In the past, the practice had wonderful, courteous front desk employees, but now it appears they've lost all of those quality staff members. It's truly unfortunate how far the customer service has declined.

I am compelled to share my profound frustration with the abysmal service at this medical practice. My elderly mother, aged 80, was booked for a 9:40 AM consultation but was not attended to until 11:53, a delay of over two hours. The staff's demeanor and conduct were utterly unacceptable. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I discourage anyone from seeking care at this center. Patients would be far better served by exploring alternative GP practices or even considering emergency room care than enduring the sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed here.

Incompetent gp mishandled my medical care completely

My sister Sharmila Rodrigues encountered a frustrating interaction with her GP while requesting a medication refill. The healthcare professional appeared completely unfamiliar with her medical history, incorrectly claiming she wasn't prescribed a medication she had been taking since December 2024. The GP provided inaccurate information about her prescription and repeatedly questioned her about her medication and condition, forcing her to insist that they review her medical records or contact her hospital consultant. The entire encounter was thoroughly unpleasant and unprofessional.

Nightmare GP that failed me completely

Steer clear of this general practitioner at all costs. Hands down, this has been the most disastrous encounter I've ever had within the National Health Service. I sought a letter with 4 subsequent appointments, only to discover after nearly a quarter of a year that it was never dispatched because "they believed it would be inconsequential", despite my specialist physician explicitly instructing me to request this letter from my GP. Abysmal patient care and persistent communication breakdowns both telephonically and face-to-face. This medical practice deserves to be completely terminated.

The medical staff were incredibly thoughtful, going above and beyond; for instance, proactively suggesting vegan-friendly medication after I casually shared my vegetarian diet, and recommending an ultrasound just to rule out any potential health concerns, even when I was skeptical about its necessity. The practice currently has two exceptional physicians, Dr Nimrah and Dr Miah, who are incredibly welcoming and compassionate. Neglectful practice failed my mother's critical health needs

As I approach the first year since my mother's passing, I am compelled to share my deep frustration with this medical practice. They consistently issued prescriptions via telephone without conducting proper examinations or investigating hospital emergency department visits. Establishing a meaningful connection with a general practitioner was impossible, despite my mother's 40-year loyalty to this practice. I find their conduct absolutely reprehensible and strongly caution others against seeking care here. Throughout her life, my mother endured persistent bowel problems, receiving only Fybrogel as treatment. Ultimately, she succumbed to Stage 4 Cancer, with the primary tumor located in her bowel. To the staff responsible: you should be profoundly ashamed of your neglectful care.
