I have recently had to request private letters and medical reports and found the reception and administrative staff to be excellent. They have consistently demonstrated efficiency and a helpful manner in all my interactions with them. Following a recent health concern, I was promptly referred for a diagnostic scan within a week. An appointment was arranged immediately once the results were available for a consultation to discuss the findings. The clinician thoroughly addressed my situation and provided me with the support and information I required without delay. I have no complaints about the practice and would strongly recommend it to others.

Gave up on getting proper help here

I've decided to seek private care instead. The approach here focuses primarily on medication rather than investigating underlying issues. It's unfortunate that I continue to pay for this service despite moving elsewhere for my healthcare needs.

We recently registered as new patients following our relocation to the area. My spouse required medical attention, so we attended the local practice. I can genuinely say that the entire process—from the initial registration at reception through to the telephone assessment and subsequent in-person consultation with a clinician—was completed within an hour. We were very pleased with the efficiency and felt reassured by the level of care provided. The team clearly works hard during these demanding times, and we appreciate their efforts.

Reception staff could've handled mask query better

I attended an appointment at the practice and was in the reception area when another patient arrived without a face covering. The receptionist responded in a manner I felt was quite abrupt, instructing them to put one on without first asking if there might be any particular reason they weren't wearing one. It's possible they may have had a valid exemption. I'm aware that there are legal protections for those with exemptions, and individuals are not required to provide documentation or explanation of their circumstances. While I recognise that protecting vulnerable patients is important, I felt the situation could have been handled with more consideration and sensitivity before making assumptions.

Prescription timing issues causing real stress

Very disappointed. I experienced a serious health event and have been struggling to receive my medications on schedule. I've noticed inconsistencies with prescription timing, sometimes receiving only a few days' worth at a time, with delays that mean I don't always have them when expected. This has been frustrating given that I rely on these medications for my ongoing health management. I feel the service could be significantly improved in this area.

The clinical staff are good. However, the reception and administrative services are not as efficient as those I have experienced at other practices.

Excellent medical professionals. Among the finest I have encountered. They demonstrate genuine care and empathy in their approach. The reception team are generally welcoming, as are the nursing and pharmacy staff. The practice operates at high capacity, which means appointment availability with my preferred clinician typically requires a few weeks' notice. However, the telephone consultation system works well, allowing me to speak with a GP who can arrange an in-person visit if necessary. I am very satisfied with the standard of care I receive.

Online prescription orders left unprocessed without notice

I had a very negative experience at this practice. I submitted an online request for my regular monthly prescription refill and went to collect it, but it had not been processed. I had a difficult interaction with the reception staff member, who explained that their procedure requires repeat prescriptions to be requested only a few days before they are needed for collection. The disagreement took place in the main waiting area without any privacy, meaning other patients present were aware of the situation. I have since transferred to a different GP practice that I find considerably better and would encourage others to consider doing the same. I found this practice to be extremely unsatisfactory overall. The visible resources available to the practice, evident from the car park, suggest significant NHS funding, which comes from taxpayer contributions. I believe these resources could potentially be allocated more effectively elsewhere.

This practice provides home visit services so patients don't need to travel in. Appointments are arranged efficiently and delays are uncommon. They coordinate well with local hospital services. I attend regularly and find the clinical staff to be compassionate and attentive.

Phone staff quickly checked my test result worries

I called in today feeling somewhat worried about a test result I hadn't yet received through the post. I asked the staff member who took my call if she could look into their system to check whether my result had arrived. I was prepared to be told I'd need to wait longer. She was absolutely wonderful and checked immediately, confirming that my result was satisfactory and easing my concerns completely. I'm very grateful for her help. My family has been registered with this practice since 2010, and both the reception team and clinical staff have consistently been friendly and professional. We have always been satisfied with the standard of care we receive. Thank you again.
