Feedback about this practice reveals a deeply polarised patient experience with significant inconsistencies across service areas. Appointment access remains a persistent challenge, with many patients reporting difficulty securing face-to-face consultations, extended waiting times both for booking and in-person visits, and instances of appointment cancellations. Reception experience emerges as a major concern, with multiple accounts of discourteous, dismissive, and unprofessional conduct from front desk staff, though some patients report courteous greetings. Communication and responsiveness issues are widespread, including missed phone consultation callbacks, poor coordination, and lack of clarity around procedures.
Medical staff performance is notably mixed. Several patients praise individual doctors and nurses for compassionate, thorough, and efficient care, while others describe dismissive attitudes, lack of empathy, and rushed consultations. The practice environment itself receives criticism regarding cleanliness standards, outdated facilities, and inadequate privacy arrangements, though some recent visitors report well-maintained spaces. A smaller group of long-standing patients express satisfaction with continuity of care and supportive staff, suggesting positive experiences are possible but appear inconsistent. The overall pattern indicates systemic organisational challenges affecting appointment availability, booking experience, and reception courtesy, alongside variable quality in clinical interactions.

Clear Explanation of My Treatment Plan
The doctor articulated the issue and outlined a comprehensive strategy for addressing my condition. From a patient's perspective, the explanation was clear, methodical, and straightforward to comprehend.

Dismissive Doctor Made Me Feel Terrible
Phone consultation turned sour when the doctor dismissed my concerns and abruptly ended the call. She claimed my language wasn't clear, instructing me to use Google for clarification. While I might be mistaken, I believed a GP would facilitate NHS referral. I felt incredibly exposed and anxious about my potential health decline. The manner in which I was treated felt discriminatory and unlike how other patients are handled.

Worst Medical Care I've Ever Experienced
This establishment is an absolute embarrassment. I'd give zero stars if possible, but one is the lowest I can go. Completely incompetent when it comes to addressing patients' requirements. Total disregard for patients' schedules. The waiting area is deplorable. The NHS should seriously consider closing this facility down entirely.

Clinic Chaos at 6 AM Appointment
After enduring a prolonged wait for a straightforward nasal endoscopy consultation, I was ultimately assigned an impossibly early morning time slot. Upon arriving, I was met with an infuriating 20-minute delay, only to be told by the scheduled physician that the appointment was cancelled because "the nurse failed to show up, and no other staff members knew how to operate the equipment". The fact that a single nurse's absence can completely paralyze an entire specialized ENT clinic's diagnostic capabilities perfectly explains why patients are experiencing such widespread difficulty accessing medical care through the NHS...

Polite Staff Made My Day
I recognize that individual encounters can vary. Nevertheless, I find myself unable to connect with the critical feedback shared by others. My personal interaction was consistently courteous and competent. In truth, the overall experience was genuinely excellent.

Quick visit with helpful ENT team
Punctual appointment and welcoming personnel, including the ENT specialist. Despite the practice's low 2-star rating, my personal encounter was genuinely deserving of a 4-star review. I was seen precisely when scheduled and received a swift referral - honestly, what more could one reasonably expect?

Friendly Staff and Helpful ENT Doctors
Despite the previous negative feedback, my experience was quite different. I had two appointments yesterday in the ENT department. The reception staff greeted me warmly with genuine smiles. My first appointment started precisely on time, and the staff member was exceptionally friendly. She provided clear and concise instructions throughout the entire consultation. When I returned to the reception for my ENT doctor appointment, he was also punctual. I was welcomed with a friendly smile, and he attentively listened to my concerns, asking thoughtful questions that made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Uddin, my long-standing GP, has consistently been incredibly responsive and supportive whenever I've needed urgent assistance. He always takes the time to truly listen and provide comprehensive care. While I acknowledge that the surgery could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a thorough cleaning, I found it to be a highly efficient and professional medical practice.

Sandra helped me navigate my NHS visit
Had a pleasant visit overall. The staff, especially Dr. Sandra, were welcoming and approachable. While the wait was considerable - around 50 minutes past my appointment time - this seems typical for NHS clinics, so I didn't find it too frustrating. Dr. Sandra was particularly impressive: she listened carefully, explained things clearly, and efficiently helped me obtain a necessary referral. Her compassionate manner made the consultation comfortable. The medical facility itself looks a bit dated and isn't aesthetically striking, but it was well-maintained and hygienic.

Rude receptionist ruined our morning visit
The absolute most terrible GP front desk staff imaginable. On this date, 25/11/2024, he was present again during the morning shift. I can't recall his exact name. The bearded individual of brown complexion was extremely discourteous to both myself and my spouse. This isn't an isolated incident either. His attitude suggests he's performing a grudging favor rather than fulfilling his professional duties, and he seems completely disinterested in providing proper service. I strongly advise against dealing with this receptionist.

Late and Canceled at 11:30am
They completely disregarded professionalism 😔... My scheduled appointment was set for 10:50am, yet they didn't contact me until 11:30. Subsequently, they proceeded to cancel the entire appointment.

Dismissive Doctor Yelled and Insulted Me
My encounter with Dr Anwara Ali was not only unprofessional but also profoundly traumatic, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was forced to wait approximately 45 minutes beyond my scheduled time. During this period, I observed Dr Ali arriving late and entering her office 30 minutes after my designated appointment time (3:30pm). When I was finally called in, it was evident that Dr. Ali was already in a visibly agitated state, seemingly due to personal issues unrelated to work. Unfortunately, this negative attitude appeared to be directed towards me, despite my urgent medical needs, which had prompted me to seek immediate assistance based on 111 service advice. Throughout the consultation, Dr. Ali was dismissive and devoid of empathy. She consistently interrupted me and demonstrated no inclination to listen to my symptoms. I felt intimidated while attempting to explain my condition, and she callously remarked that I was "wasting her time." Her lack of compassion escalated when I requested medication to be sent to the nearby pharmacy, given my nominated pharmacy's inconvenient location. Her response was shocking: she declared that "people like you make the world worse," which was not only inappropriate but deeply hurtful. I was left feeling humiliated and on the brink of tears. Moreover, Dr. Ali explicitly told me never to book an appointment with her again, despite this being an emergency referral. When I mentioned my intention to file a complaint, she brazenly challenged me, asserting that it would make no difference because she is "very popular around here." This dismissive attitude only intensified my distress. As I left the room, her shouting was so loud that the facilities manager could hear her, leading me to console him and inquire about complaint submission procedures. I want to emphasize that this experience has left me feeling vulnerable and frightened. Dr. Ali boldly dared me to complain, seemingly confident in her immunity from consequences. This is not an isolated incident of her unprofessional conduct. I will be escalating this complaint to NHS England, the CQC, and GMC, as I believe a simple apology is entirely inadequate. As a public servant, I expect significantly better treatment from healthcare professionals, particularly when dealing with vulnerable patients. Therefore, I am advocating for severe consequences against Dr. Ali to prevent other patients from experiencing similar humiliation and disrespect.

Dismissive Doctor Ignored My Mental Health
Dr Anwara Ali displays an appalling level of unprofessionalism, demonstrating extreme rudeness, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of compassionate patient care. Particularly troubling is her discriminatory treatment of patients from a South Asian background, despite sharing the same ethnic heritage herself. During a consultation where I vulnerably shared critical mental health concerns, I was met with zero empathy or understanding. Instead, I was curtly instructed to schedule another appointment, effectively dismissing my urgent needs. Upon consulting another GP, I discovered she had not even documented my serious mental health disclosure. My family and I attempted to address these serious issues by requesting a GP transfer and filing a formal complaint against Dr Anwara. However, our efforts were met with total silence and no meaningful response regarding her unacceptable conduct. Her demeanor is consistently hostile, and she appears to leverage her perceived institutional power to bully patients, brazenly abusing her professional position while consistently failing to meet fundamental medical practice standards. She absolutely must be removed from her position!!!

Quick NHS Appointment with Helpful Doctor
Secured a same-day NHS consultation by calling early in the morning. The waiting time was brief, around 20 minutes before seeing the doctor in the afternoon. The general practitioner was exceptionally helpful, thoroughly addressing my concerns and recommending follow-up treatments that seemed perfectly tailored to my needs.

Morning Appointments Work Like a Charm
I have no significant grievances since scheduling an appointment is consistently possible by calling early at 8:45 AM. While healthcare providers are experiencing widespread challenges, I've heard much more problematic accounts from other medical practices. My primary physician, Dr. Kobir Ahmed, is excellent, and the other doctors I've encountered during urgent situations have also been competent and helpful.

Long Wait and No Help at Hospital
Absolutely terrible healthcare experience with the UK's National Health Service. Completely inefficient, slow, and unresponsive. The level of care is shockingly poor, wait times are endless, and patient treatment seems like an afterthought. Truly a dysfunctional medical system that fails patients at every turn.
