Reception staff were dismissive about medication needs

My recent experience at this surgery has been disappointing. I felt that the care my daughter received lacked attentiveness and I did not feel my concerns were properly acknowledged. The reception team's approach was similarly unsatisfactory—my interactions with staff were unpleasant, as they came across as unnecessarily curt and unprofessional. This falls short of the standard of care and respect that patients should expect, and meaningful improvements are needed. My daughter's required medication was not provided, and I was told on multiple occasions by staff that I would receive a callback to arrange the prescription. During the final contact, staff appeared rushed and disengaged, and I was ultimately left without the medication, forcing me to seek emergency assistance elsewhere.

I have found my experience at Aylestone Surgery to be very positive overall. The front desk team consistently demonstrate friendliness and a genuine willingness to assist, while the clinical staff have shown exceptional empathy and helpfulness alongside a pleasant sense of humour. There was one telephone interaction that I found somewhat uncomfortable with a member of the practice, though I'm uncertain of their role, but aside from this isolated incident my time there has been excellent.
