Horrible customer service and endless waiting nightmare

I desperately want a rating lower than zero. This is absolutely the most terrible establishment I've ever encountered. I brought my 5-year-old daughter here and endured a grueling 4-hour wait, during which no staff member seemed to have any clue or competence.

Worst medical experience ever terrible service nightmare

Utterly unprofessional staff with a complete lack of customer service, the receptionist appeared totally disinterested and unmotivated in her role. Upon arriving and mentioning my 111 referral, both the receptionist and male triage nurse exchanged mocking glances and laughed dismissively. When I inquired about bathroom facilities, I was met with an exasperated eye roll and a vague gesture towards the back of the clinic. After waiting for three hours in a nearly empty waiting room, the doctor seemed desperate to rush through my consultation, giving the impression he was more concerned about his lunch break than providing proper medical care. I am extremely disappointed with the entire experience and have already initiated a formal complaint. This facility urgently requires a complete overhaul of its staff and customer approach.

Nightmare at gp surgery with terrible service

I had the most horrendous experience at this GP surgery. During an urgent visit for my daughter with a dangerously high fever, we endured a grueling two-hour wait where she cried continuously for one hour. Despite repeatedly pleading with staff about her deteriorating condition, they remained completely indifferent. The entire staff displayed an appalling attitude, acting as if providing medical care was some extraordinary favor. The male nurse, who was African American, demonstrated extremely discriminatory and unprofessional conduct. He inexplicably blamed me for my daughter's health issues and began criticizing her teeth, even after I explained her sensory processing disorder. His approach was completely unacceptable. The overall environment was deeply distressing and traumatic. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this surgery at all costs. In contrast, my subsequent visit to Dunstable Grove health club was remarkably different - the facility was immaculately clean, and the doctor was exceptionally compassionate and understanding.

Referred by 111, I was seen promptly within 60 minutes. The physician was exceptionally compassionate and meticulous. The receptionist was wonderful - I observed her interaction with a parent and infant, and her warmth and genuine empathy were evident. They manage a challenging healthcare service, and they truly deserve recognition for their outstanding work.

Worst customer service ever, avoid at all costs

Absolutely dreadful service. Expect to waste an entire day waiting, with wait times easily stretching to 5+ hours. You could literally arrive in the morning and not be seen until evening. The front desk staff treats patients like faceless statistics, completely dismissive of individual experiences. Instead of listening to your actual symptoms and concerns, the receptionist will arbitrarily decide and document what she believes you're experiencing, completely disregarding your own description of your health issues.

Terrible urgent treatment centre with no care

I visited the Chapel Street Luton Urgent Treatment Centre with my son at 11:30, referred by 111 due to his serious illness. After waiting for an hour, I approached the receptionist to inquire about the wait time. I explained that my son is disabled with multiple medical conditions, hoping for some understanding. However, the receptionist was dismissive and stated that the 111 referral time was irrelevant and depended solely on the doctor's availability. She suggested leaving if I couldn't wait. Meanwhile, I had left my daughter with a neighbor who was repeatedly calling me to return. Ultimately, I had to go home without my sick son receiving medical attention. This experience was deeply distressing and reflects poorly on the healthcare facility. The lack of compassion and inefficient service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Such treatment is unacceptable, and the centre urgently needs to improve its patient care and management system.

Unacceptable walk-in clinic fails desperate parent

Would rate zero stars if possible. Referred by 111 with my sick child, only to be brushed off during triage and informed no physicians were available due to no appointments. This was supposed to be a walk-in clinic open until 6 PM, and I arrived at 3 PM. Ultimately had to seek help at the hospital GP, who fortunately prescribed medication for a serious infection. Honestly, thank goodness they examined him, as his condition could have significantly deteriorated. It's incomprehensible why they can't inform patients upfront when booking that no doctor consultations are possible, forcing people to wait and then be turned away. Such treatment is absolutely unacceptable.

She was attentive and thoroughly explained all possible approaches. This was undoubtedly the most comfortable vaginal examination I've ever undergone. Her compassionate manner and clear communication about the subsequent steps were incredibly reassuring. Moreover, the clinic followed up with a check-in call later that day to ensure my well-being and comfort. Truly exceptional service. Kudos to the entire medical team.

Terrible service and endless wait times

Terrible service that left me completely disappointed. Zero concern for patient well-being was evident. After an initial brief consultation, I was abandoned in the waiting area for over three and a half hours with absolutely no information or communication. The staff's lack of professionalism and empathy was shocking. This experience was so disheartening that I have zero desire to ever come back to this facility. They do not deserve another opportunity to provide care.

I had hoped this medical practice had updated its appointment scheduling approach, but clearly nothing has changed. When I attempted to book an appointment today, I was informed the only option is to call precisely at 8 AM to secure a same-day slot. It's reminiscent of a competitive survival scenario, like the tension in "The Hunger Games". This approach strikes me as completely insufficient and frankly inhumane. During a previous attempt last year, I spent nearly an hour and a half on hold. Such a system is simply unacceptable, particularly for someone in their eighties like myself. What possible justification could there be for preventing advance booking??

It defies comprehension that a medical facility would demonstrate such blatant disrespect for patients' time and well-being. Moreover, the timing of these issues is particularly troubling. Having registered with your practice merely yesterday, I already find myself compelled to contact you today. Such immediacy should have prompted a swift and attentive response, yet I have been met with a profound sense of indifference and incompetence. This experience has fundamentally undermined my confidence in selecting your surgery. The overwhelming frustration and disappointment I am experiencing have led me to seriously doubt the wisdom of my initial choice. Upon reflection, I should have paid closer attention to the numerous negative reviews readily available online. It is becoming increasingly apparent that these accounts were not isolated incidents but rather a true representation of the consistently substandard service endemic to your practice.
