Patient Experience Summary

Feedback on this GP practice reveals a deeply divided patient experience, with reception and appointment access emerging as the most consistently problematic areas. Patients report significant difficulties securing timely appointments, with waits extending weeks or months even for urgent matters, alongside widespread complaints about discourteous and dismissive reception staff who appear to act as gatekeepers preventing access to clinical care. Communication breakdowns between reception and clinical teams have left patients unable to follow doctors' explicit instructions for booking follow-up consultations.

In contrast, clinical staff including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists receive considerable praise for compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness when patients do manage to access them. The practice environment is described as welcoming and well-maintained, and several patients highlight positive experiences with specific staff members and efficient online consultation systems. However, these pockets of excellence are substantially overshadowed by systemic access barriers, with the appointment booking experience and reception courtesy representing critical service failures that undermine confidence in the practice overall.

Friendly Doctors, but Reckless Receptionist

The medical staff are incredibly compassionate and skilled. However, the front desk representative I interacted with today is a serious problem. She provided me with potentially harmful guidance that could jeopardize my health. While I can overlook her discourteous behavior, her dispensing medical recommendations is unacceptable and poses a genuine safety risk.

Unhelpful Phone Support Slammed the Phone Down

I had a phone conversation with a representative who displayed an incredibly unprofessional demeanor, abruptly ending our call mid-discussion. His behavior was unacceptable, demonstrating a complete lack of customer service etiquette and basic respect.

Terrible Doctor's Office with Awful Receptionists

Absolutely dreadful medical practice. The front desk staff are incredibly discourteous and habitually terminate phone calls after minimal hold time. This entire healthcare facility deserves to be shut down immediately!

Impossible to See a Doctor in Slough

Undoubtedly the most incompetent general practitioner in Slough, where booking an appointment seems impossible despite contributing taxes and national insurance. Is this the standard of a developing nation?

Terrible customer service on the phone

Unhelpful front desk staff with zero comprehension, completely dismissive of my concerns, and unwilling to engage or address the problem - they simply hung up without any attempt to assist or provide a solution.

Rude Receptionists Ruin This Doctor's Office

The front desk staff at this medical practice are incredibly discourteous and condescending. It's baffling how they continue to be employed given their abysmal attitude towards patients. Securing an appointment is an exercise in futility. Even when you ring up at the crack of dawn, all slots are inexplicably filled. While some of the physicians are truly exceptional, others fall short of expectations. I've never encountered any issues with the nursing staff. In particular, the Irish nurse stands out as phenomenal, especially in her interactions with children.

Frustrating wait for back pain treatment

I've been enduring back pain for a fortnight. Following a considerate phone conversation, I learned that the earliest available appointment is over a month away. It's disheartening to see how the NHS operates despite our contributions...

Terrible wait and dismissive staff at clinic

Extremely discourteous front desk staff greeted us with an unwelcoming attitude. The physician appeared preoccupied, casually sipping tea and engaging in conversation with a colleague. We were reprimanded for allegedly not checking in, despite being present. Our supposedly urgent appointment resulted in a two-hour waiting period before another medical professional finally attended to my husband. The entire experience was unprofessional and frustrating.
