Got a return call midweek, not directly from the physician but from a paramedic who was both personable and incredibly detailed. He recommended some medication, and true to his assessment, I began experiencing improvement within 48 hours. I've consistently had positive experiences with the wand medical center and haven't encountered any issues.

Rude doctor dismissed my son's health needs
My son sought a medical excuse today. A female physician called and immediately displayed a critical attitude, asserting that individuals with epilepsy should be working. My son is on lcwr and has been officially evaluated as unfit for employment, with additional health complications. When he attempted to seek support, he was met with a harsh, unsympathetic healthcare professional who showed zero compassion. The interaction became so distressing that he ultimately terminated the call without obtaining the crucial sick note he urgently required. It's absolutely appalling how a vulnerable young person with complex medical challenges can be treated so callously by a medical professional!

Frustrating medical practice with unhelpful staff
To update 27,3,24. After submitting a previous entirely accurate review, I began making progress with one doctor at the practice. However, because I refused to remove my initial review, the practice manager Dee - whom I've attempted to contact multiple times but who remains unresponsive - took it upon herself to arrange a meeting with the partners behind my back without my involvement. She has now removed me from their patient list and sent a letter instructing me to find alternative medical care. Thanks for nothing, Dee - just when I thought I was making headway. At least I won't have to endure your terrible practice anymore, I suppose. Absolutely terrible practice. Doctors consistently fail to follow up on tests, and when contacted about results, they actually fabricate information. They neglect to update medical records and never respond as promised. I've spent 8 years battling a medical issue that has now progressed to the point where my daily life is unbearable and is impacting my heart. When I raised concerns, I was told everything was fine, forcing me to demand they review test results from weeks earlier which conclusively proved the situation was far from acceptable. Their approach is to simply prescribe painkillers to mask symptoms rather than address the underlying cause. I've deteriorated from being supremely healthy to becoming a complete physical wreck. I've essentially surrendered hope - the only reason I'm still here is my children and family. The doctors are disinterested and negligent. This is now severely affecting my mental health; I'm unable to leave home, interact socially, or even answer communications. They'll respond with generic placating statements, suggesting patients contact the practice, but as proven, this achieves nothing - it's merely a facade of caring, which would be laughable if it weren't so tragic. Update: 13,02,2024. Received a phone call requesting I remove my review. I declined, reaffirming its complete accuracy. However, I want to acknowledge my appointment with Dr. Aliakbar on 12,02,24 was excellent. He was thoroughly professional, attentive, and conducted a comprehensive examination addressing all my concerns. Thank you.

Perpetually overwhelmed and discourteous customer support. Securing an appointment seems impossible. Phone queues stretch to 20 minutes, only to be met with a hasty 20-second dismissal telling you to contact NHS 111. Skip the frustration and dial NHS 111 straight away.

Dr willis helped me out today
On November 3rd, I received a callback from Dr. Willis, who was incredibly compassionate when discussing my hernia issue, which is a secondary concern to my current deep vein thrombosis (DVT). He meticulously explained everything and recommended a physical examination. Upon arriving at the practice, I waited briefly before being seen. He assessed the hernia and determined it requires surgical repair, promptly scheduling an appointment within a fortnight. Additionally, he provided a medical certificate, arranged consultations for smoking cessation and weight management. Dr. John Willis truly exemplifies the best of medical professionals, demonstrating remarkable kindness and dedication. During the same visit, the nurse administered my flu vaccination. These medical professionals are completely incompetent! You explain your symptoms, and their response is to ask YOU what you think is wrong - are you serious?!?! And don't even get me started on the front desk staff - their attitude is beyond terrible. I wouldn't recommend this practice to my worst enemy. Endless wait with unhelpful staff
Absolutely terrible reception and medical staff. You're instructed to call at 8:30 AM, only to be placed on hold as the 8th caller, and after half an hour, you've barely moved to 6th in the queue. By the time you finally speak to someone, it's 10:30 AM with no appointments available, forcing you to try again the next morning. The doctors are incredibly discourteous and completely lacking in empathy. I secured a phone consultation through 111 with no specific time given, just a vague promise of a morning call. The physician provided zero helpful advice and was shockingly dismissive, acting as if she were the sole medical professional in existence. She callously suggested I visit a walk-in center, completely ignoring her own professional responsibilities. She clearly needs to find a different career if she's unwilling to show compassion or support her patients. I absolutely would not recommend this practice. I'm definitely switching my general practitioner without hesitation.
