Doctors gone, service falling apart

This medical facility was once top-notch, with exceptional staff and physicians. Recently, most of them have departed, leaving only a handful behind. The centre has dramatically deteriorated, now characterized by discourteous doctors and unhelpful new reception personnel. They've implemented a strict appointment-only policy, which seems uncommon among local practices. Telephone consultations are frequently unreliable, often requiring patients to chase follow-ups, and they're quick to cancel if you arrive late. Despite having a serious kidney infection, with a hospital electronic referral mandating an in-person examination, they failed to see me. Apparently, they consider a telephone call equivalent to a physical assessment, which is clearly inadequate. Their communication is equally problematic - when calling, you're placed in a seemingly endless queue before being abruptly disconnected. What was once an excellent medical centre has devolved into the worst I've encountered. As a result, I'm actively seeking a new general practitioner.

Doctors' attitudes ruined my longtime practice

Over my 16-year history with this medical practice, I've generally had positive experiences with previous general practitioners. However, I'm rating this review at 3 stars due to recent issues with newly arrived doctors who demonstrate poor communication skills. There's one physician in particular who consistently dismisses my concerns and becomes defensive when I express my frustration, even going so far as to label me as discourteous. The practice's quality has noticeably deteriorated since the departure of Dr Taylor and Dr Hamilton. In contrast, the clinical nursing staff remain exceptional and continue to provide outstanding care. Similarly, the reception team, with only a minimal number of exceptions over the years, have always been supportive and helpful. I want to emphasize that the challenges with appointment availability are not attributable to the reception staff.
