Worst GP Consultation on a Frustrating Wednesday
My encounter with Dr Hina Zehra on Wednesday was utterly frustrating. I sought medical guidance after enduring months of persistent pain, but she seemed like an automated system mechanically reading through a standard questionnaire. Her empathy level was nonexistent. She demonstrated poor listening skills, requiring me to repeat myself at least four times, and her responses consistently contradicted my statements. The consultation was so ineffective that I believe a medical student could have provided more comprehensive care. I departed the appointment feeling angry and disheartened. I was completely dismissed and marginalized, with her only recommendations being to drink water, take paracetamol, and consider verbal therapy for two months of post-meal bowel pain. I absolutely refuse to have her as my healthcare provider in future appointments. I strongly advise anyone scheduling a consultation to specifically request not to be assigned to her.

Willesden Medical Centre used to be a great GP practice, but now it's deteriorated significantly. The current appointment process is frustrating: you spend ages waiting on the phone, only to be instructed to complete an online form that a receptionist will send to your phone, with the promise that a doctor might respond in 1-2 days. Previously, receptionists would directly note your concerns and schedule an appointment. Now, they seem indifferent to whether patients need in-person consultations, dismissing the importance of direct medical interaction. The GP's management appears completely out of touch and ineffective, desperately needing to understand the real issues affecting patient care. I've become so disillusioned that I now actively avoid calling them, knowing I'll receive no meaningful assistance with my health concerns.

Our delicate medical situation required a thoughtful and sensitive approach, yet she mechanically proceeded through her standard protocol without any genuine consideration. I felt completely dismissed, unimportant, unseen, and profoundly distressed. As a newly registered patient at this practice, I am actively seeking alternative medical care immediately. This marks the third instance since joining where scheduling appointments has been frustratingly difficult and my concerns have been systematically ignored. I am definitively not returning and strongly advise others against choosing this medical facility.

Helpful Staff Assisted Mom's Ear Appointment
I stopped by the Medical centre recently to help my elderly mother get ear microsuction treatment. At 93 years old and wheelchair-bound, we encountered a challenge when we first arrived: the disability lift was out of order. After contacting reception, a wonderful staff member (whose name I wish I had noted) kindly suggested we enter through the back parking area, and she would personally come down to assist us in accessing the building. Her helpfulness was truly appreciated. Despite the initial hurdle, we successfully completed my mother's appointment, and she can now hear much more clearly.
