Friendly staff and appointments without long waits

Excellent medical practice with a strong team overall. The reception staff are generally wonderful, though like any workplace, occasionally someone might be having a difficult day. The clinical staff members are consistently impressive—always approachable, thoughtful and maintain high professional standards. An additional benefit is that appointments are typically available within a reasonable timeframe.

Doctor dismissed concerns without proper examination

I attended an appointment regarding back pain that was significantly affecting my mobility. The clinician made a comment suggesting that if I could manage getting in and out of a car, there was nothing seriously wrong, without conducting a thorough examination of my spine. Following my own referral to physiotherapy, I received rehabilitation treatment over an extended period for a spinal condition. My experience of this consultation was that it lacked thoroughness, empathy, and attentiveness to my concerns. The approach felt dismissive and did not meet the standard of care I would have expected.

Receptionists helped me feel welcome

I would love to return to this practice in the future. During my initial visit, I faced a language barrier, but the reception team was incredibly supportive in assisting me with the necessary paperwork and other administrative tasks. They demonstrated genuine kindness and helpfulness throughout. This has been an excellent experience overall.

The automatic doors are a nice feature. However, the experience inside was marred by lengthy wait times, an unwelcoming atmosphere, and a lack of understanding from staff.

Reception staff attitude needs improvement

Generally a pleasant GP practice, though I had a negative experience with one member of the reception team. This person seemed unwilling to assist and appeared irritated during our interactions. The conversation felt dismissive and the overall demeanor was unhelpful. I noticed some issues with appointment management, though the staff member seemed more engaged during breaks. I felt this individual may not be well-suited to a front-facing role. I was disappointed by the experience and felt there was a noticeable difference in how I was treated compared to other patients. This significantly detracted from my visit.

Reception staff made signing up feel welcoming

I've recently joined the practice and don't have much to comment on yet. However, the reception team have been absolutely wonderful! I've had the opportunity to speak with them several times, both before and after registering, as I needed some assistance with the online registration process. The reception staff have been incredibly kind and helpful throughout, and I've really appreciated how warmly I've been treated :)

The practice has experienced a significant decline in quality over the past year, and I would recommend seeking care elsewhere. I encountered rudeness from reception staff members and have experienced repeated issues with prescription management. Reception staff are genuinely friendly and helpful

Following a previous review posted here, I felt compelled to share my own experience. I have been a patient at this practice for over eight years and the concerns raised in that earlier review do not align with what I have experienced. The reception team have consistently been warm, polite and supportive, always willing to assist. Throughout my time as a patient, I have consulted with several clinicians and have never felt undervalued or poorly treated. Over the past period, I have attended multiple appointments regarding a health matter that was promptly investigated through referral and resulted in a diagnosis within a fortnight. The main limitation I would note is the age of the building itself, however I find I prefer receiving attentive, personalised care in older premises to being treated as merely another patient in a modern facility. Overall, this is a small yet welcoming and well-run practice based on my experience.
