Steer clear of this medical practice if you care about your well-being. Throughout my extensive travels and residency in various locations, Thorns Road Surgery stands out as the most substandard healthcare facility. I've escalated formal complaints to the Parliamentary and Health Ombudsman and the ICB, which I strongly recommend anyone dissatisfied with Thorns Road Surgery to do. Lodging complaints directly with the surgery allows them to internally manage and shield themselves, rather than addressing patient concerns. Always take grievances to higher authorities and governing bodies. The surgery delivers woefully inadequate patient care with incompetent staff. They've repeatedly failed in multiple patient care aspects. Despite giving them numerous opportunities to resolve issues, the practice manager's ineptitude has only further tarnished their already poor reputation. Colleagues in my professional network have shared similar negative experiences and are actively seeking alternative medical providers. This morning, I transitioned to a new surgery where I was treated with genuine respect, engaged with direct eye contact, listened to by a competent physician, and had my medical needs comprehensively addressed. These are fundamental standards any professional healthcare establishment should maintain. At Thorns Road Surgery, patients should not be required to disclose medical details to receptionists - that's a confidential doctor-patient interaction. Healthcare workers must communicate with dignity and respect, remembering they are employed to serve and are accountable to higher authorities. Thorns Road Surgery is an absolute embarrassment.

When you attempt to call, the phone line is constantly jammed, and if you finally connect around 8, all available time slots have already been snatched up. It's disheartening when healthcare becomes purely profit-driven. "New patients welcome," they claim... Yet, doctor appointment wait times stretch to 3-4 weeks, and I suspect they're deliberately aiming to extend it to 5 or 6 weeks just to frustrate patients. It's reminiscent of retail stores with minimal checkout lanes, creating massive queues. The management is clearly incompetent, hiding away the competent staff while positioning unhelpful personnel at the initial point of contact, making it deliberately challenging to access the medical assistance you desperately require.

Dr. Sandikop displays an appalling bedside manner, consistently coming across as condescending and highly unprofessional. I've decided to completely avoid her practice after multiple terrible interactions. In stark contrast, Dr. Mahmooner is absolutely delightful! The receptionist is also very welcoming. I'm seriously considering changing healthcare providers due to Dr. Sandikop's terrible attitude, and the numerous complaints against her definitely warrant a thorough investigation.

There's a physician on staff that patients universally avoid, which results in all available appointment slots being completely filled by 8:05 AM, leaving critically ill patients with zero options. Consistently zero availability, and they completely disregard maintaining emergency slots for vulnerable populations like children and seniors. The unpopular doctor systematically mistreats patients, a complaint echoed by numerous individuals who've shared their experiences with me. Completely unreliable when it comes to healthcare needs.
