Patient feedback reveals a deeply polarised experience at this practice, with significant challenges around appointment access and booking systems contrasting sharply with positive feedback about clinical care quality. The appointment booking process emerges as the primary source of frustration, with patients reporting difficulties accessing phone lines, website booking forms closing early, triage capacity limits reached within minutes of opening, and long waiting times for callbacks. Reception experience is mixed, with some patients describing warm and welcoming staff whilst others report discourtesy and unhelpfulness, particularly when handling urgent requests or vulnerable patients. Communication responsiveness varies considerably, from same-day replies to delayed responses spanning weeks, creating inconsistency in patient experience.
Where patients successfully access consultations, clinical care receives consistent praise for compassion, professionalism, and thorough attention. Medical staff are frequently described as attentive listeners who provide clear explanations and demonstrate genuine concern for patient wellbeing. However, continuity of care concerns emerge, with some patients reporting inconsistent physician availability and lack of follow-up after procedures. Several patients note the practice's reliance on online booking systems and same-day appointment models, which they describe as impractical for working individuals and those without flexible schedules.
The practice appears to operate under significant capacity constraints, with patients frequently redirected to alternative services including pharmacies, NHS 111, and urgent care centres. Long waiting times in reception areas and extended phone hold times feature prominently in negative feedback, though some patients report efficient service delivery when appointments are secured. Overall, the feedback suggests a practice with capable clinical professionals but struggling with administrative systems and appointment accessibility that fail to meet diverse patient needs effectively.

Bad!
Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff
First review: After two grueling days of attempting to schedule an appointment starting precisely at 8am, I finally get through only to be treated like an inconvenience. The staff dismissively suggested urgent care or checking the website tomorrow, completely disregarding my increasing arm pain that's rendering me virtually immobile. I might as well spend 6 hours waiting at Russels Hall. The receptionist was clearly just trying to brush me off since no appointments were available, making the entire experience absolutely abysmal. Second review: Following recent allergy blood tests that returned normal results, I reached out to the reception requesting a referral to the allergy clinic due to ongoing food-related allergic reactions. Their response? I must restart the entire appointment process. Why can't they simply communicate with Dr. Adayami and relay that I'm still experiencing these allergic symptoms, just as we previously discussed? The incompetence of this place and its receptionists is truly mind-boggling!

Exceptional healthcare with caring and professional team
I'm truly grateful for this medical practice. The service is top-notch, from the administrative team to the healthcare professionals. Having experienced other clinics in the region, I can confidently say Three Villages stands out. Their commitment to patient care is exceptional. Much appreciation!

Decent care with some patient wait frustrations
The reception team was welcoming and pleasant. Facility appears well-maintained and tidy. Seating in the waiting area is comfortable and inviting. Despite this, the wait can be extensive and the space becomes quite congested. Most of the general practitioners were excellent, though a few seemed indifferent and not fully engaged with patient concerns.

Compassionate care from an amazing healthcare professional
I had the pleasure of consulting Dr Khan and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional care provided. Dr Khan demonstrated remarkable compassion and dedication, carefully addressing each of my health concerns with genuine interest. Their empathetic manner made me feel completely heard and comfortable throughout the consultation. Without hesitation, I would enthusiastically recommend Dr Khan to anyone seeking a truly patient-centered healthcare professional. Chloe

Nightmarish healthcare system leaves patients frustrated
The appointment system has become an absolute nightmare since its recent overhaul. To secure a same-day slot, patients must call precisely at 8:00am, which is incredibly frustrating. I've personally attempted to book an appointment for two consecutive days, and my partner remains unable to secure any consultation. The practice is consistently fully booked, with no option to schedule in advance - a setup that shows complete disrespect for working individuals. This system is utterly chaotic and dysfunctional. While they suggest completing an online form, there's still no assurance of actually seeing a physician. Their alternative recommendations are to visit a pharmacy or dial 111, effectively leaving patients with no meaningful medical support. Getting a doctor's appointment has become virtually impossible.

Exceptional medical care that truly exceeds expectations
I've been with this medical practice for several months, and I can confidently say they are far superior to my previous healthcare provider. Whenever I require a consultation, I'm able to secure an appointment without delay. I've experienced zero complications with prescription requests or any other administrative matters.

Great!
Fantastic service despite nhs challenges
Scheduling can be challenging as slots fill up fast, but if you call early at 8am, they'll arrange a same-day appointment. The medical staff are excellent, and given the immense pressure on the NHS, they're performing remarkably well.

Terrible mental health support leads to despair
What an absolute disaster of a medical practice! I've been persistently trying to secure an appointment, and as someone struggling intensely with mental health, I was completely devastated. I was on the phone, emotionally breaking down and desperately imploring them for assistance, only to have my call abruptly terminated while I was in floods of tears and begging for support! Instead of helping, they wanted me to wait weeks for an appointment, despite me clearly communicating my potential for self-harm! I was simply pleading for help, not using any aggressive language towards the receptionist, yet they completely dismissed my urgent need. I've never experienced such appalling treatment from a medical practice in my entire life. If you're dealing with mental health challenges, steer clear of this surgery - they have absolutely destroyed any remaining confidence I had in seeking help. The fact that professionals who are supposed to have a fundamental duty of care could treat a vulnerable patient like this is utterly unacceptable. Truly, truly shocking.

Lifesavers during my morning medical mishap
Visited Merry Hill for a blood test today, but I mistakenly came on the wrong day. Ended up traveling to three different locations to get my sample taken. Shared with the reception staff that I was having a truly challenging morning. They kindly asked the nurse if she could accommodate me, and thankfully, she had an available slot. Once again, I received exceptional service. Kudos to the team for their helpfulness and understanding.

Compassionate care from an exceptional healthcare professional
Recently, I visited Dr. Khan's medical practice and felt compelled to share my positive experience. He demonstrated exceptional care by thoroughly engaging with me, carefully listening to my concerns, and providing a level of compassionate attention I haven't encountered in years. Dr. Khan truly stands out as an outstanding healthcare professional.

Terrible medical service with zero compassion
I stopped by the pharmacy around 4:30 on Friday seeking medical guidance, and they recommended consulting a physician. Since I was nearby, I decided to visit the clinic. Upon arrival, the waiting room was completely empty. When I explained my situation to the receptionist, she claimed they were at full capacity. I questioned her reasoning, pointing out the lack of patients, but she couldn't provide a coherent explanation. Her response was utterly unacceptable, and she simply directed me to urgent care. It's infuriating how doctors are creating unnecessary strain on urgent care facilities with their unhelpful approach.

Frustrating appointment scheduling at three villages practice
Getting an appointment at this medical practice has become incredibly challenging. I previously switched from my former doctor due to similar scheduling issues and initially found Three Villages quite promising. However, they've recently modified their appointment booking process, and I've observed a decline in their customer reviews. I suspect this change in booking policy might be the reason behind their dropping reputation.

Terrible service and frustrating appointment booking system
Scheduling a consultation becomes a nightmare for those with a job, and attempting to complete the online booking form at 8:00 AM is completely unfeasible. The previous method was significantly more user-friendly, and they should seriously consider reverting to that approach. This experience is just as frustrating as the medical practice in Stourbridge.

Terrible service that fails patients in urgent need
Never able to secure an appointment when urgently needed. When sick and requiring medical attention, it's always "see you in three weeks," which is utterly useless when unwell. Even when informed about a chest infection and breathing difficulties from asthma, they still offer appointments weeks in the future. Spent 50 minutes on hold with just 8 people in the queue, only to be immediately told to complete an online form at 8am the next day, despite a hospital referral. Being unable to use my phone at work makes this impossible. They'll cancel my appointment if I'm a minute late, yet I can wait half an hour past my scheduled time. Consistently unhelpful. Doctors provide one diagnosis, while physiotherapists contradict it. Constantly referred to incorrect departments. I desperately need to return to Kford doctors, as they put these practitioners to shame. Edit: Transferred to Kford surgery, and in my first appointment, I finally received genuine concern - something Three Villages would either dismiss, claim I'm too young for, or simply hand me a leaflet about. Says it all...

Impossible to see a gp at this nightmare practice
Getting a doctor's appointment at this practice is more challenging than catching a glimpse of King Charles. It's absolutely absurd. The only way to book is by phone between 8am and 8:30am sharp - which means if you're driving to work or taking your child to school, securing an appointment is practically impossible. Not only that, but appointments are only for the same day, forcing you to take time off work and keep your child home from school just to make that narrow window of a phone call. Then you have to hope there are actually slots available, and if not, you're stuck repeating this frustrating process day after day. Who's going to cover your lost wages? And how can you explain this to the school, which charges £100 for unauthorized absences? This system is completely unworkable and impractical. STEER CLEAR of this medical practice.

Efficient and quick medical care when you need it
Signed up with this medical center after struggling to secure consultations at the competing large clinic in Stourbridge. Their digital screening process is exceptional! Received a prompt callback scheduling an appointment within hours. It's definitely advantageous to have a workplace that allows flexibility for same-day medical visits.

Frustrating healthcare that risks patient safety and lives
Securing a medical consultation feels utterly unattainable. Who will be held responsible if a patient suffers a fatal consequence? Indolent healthcare providers are redirecting patients to already overwhelmed NHS resources. They're essentially operating at minimal effort now - will anyone even perceive a change?

Frustrating appointments and mixed nhs healthcare experience
The surgery seems comparable to other GP practices, but their appointment system lacks careful planning. Allocating just half an hour for patients to either phone in or complete a form that takes 10-15 minutes is quite frustrating. If GP practices reverted to allowing direct online booking like before, it would be far more convenient. Patients could simply browse available slots until finding a suitable time. Moreover, GPs now seem to automatically redirect patients to A&E, despite most people knowing when they genuinely need emergency care. We're simultaneously being told not to go to A&E but to see a GP, creating a confusing situation. Personally, I have no desire to spend an entire day in A&E, risking exposure to additional illnesses or incurring unnecessary expenses. The NHS is in a critical state and can no longer use COVID as an excuse. Constant junior doctor strikes are further stretching an already fragile system. While they certainly deserve better pay, they must remember their profession is a vocation. Currently, their ongoing strikes are potentially causing harm to patients. With the prevailing attitude among NHS staff, the situation appears likely to deteriorate further.
