Patient feedback reveals a deeply polarised experience at this practice, with significant challenges around appointment access and booking systems contrasting sharply with positive feedback about clinical care quality. The appointment booking process emerges as the primary source of frustration, with patients reporting difficulties accessing phone lines, website booking forms closing early, triage capacity limits reached within minutes of opening, and long waiting times for callbacks. Reception experience is mixed, with some patients describing warm and welcoming staff whilst others report discourtesy and unhelpfulness, particularly when handling urgent requests or vulnerable patients. Communication responsiveness varies considerably, from same-day replies to delayed responses spanning weeks, creating inconsistency in patient experience.
Where patients successfully access consultations, clinical care receives consistent praise for compassion, professionalism, and thorough attention. Medical staff are frequently described as attentive listeners who provide clear explanations and demonstrate genuine concern for patient wellbeing. However, continuity of care concerns emerge, with some patients reporting inconsistent physician availability and lack of follow-up after procedures. Several patients note the practice's reliance on online booking systems and same-day appointment models, which they describe as impractical for working individuals and those without flexible schedules.
The practice appears to operate under significant capacity constraints, with patients frequently redirected to alternative services including pharmacies, NHS 111, and urgent care centres. Long waiting times in reception areas and extended phone hold times feature prominently in negative feedback, though some patients report efficient service delivery when appointments are secured. Overall, the feedback suggests a practice with capable clinical professionals but struggling with administrative systems and appointment accessibility that fail to meet diverse patient needs effectively.

Bad!
Terrible medical experience avoid these incompetent physicians
These medical professionals are absolutely incompetent - you'd be better off consulting a witch doctor or random street fortune teller than walking into their practice. Their level of care is so abysmal it defies basic medical standards.

Bad!
Terrible wait times and unhelpful staff nightmare
AVOID THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS!!!! WHENEVER I TAKE MY TWO SMALL CHILDREN, WE ARE FORCED TO WAIT NEARLY AN HOUR BEFORE BEING SEEN. THE RECEPTIONISTS ARE COMPLETELY USELESS, CONSTANTLY PROMISING "YOU'RE NEXT" AFTER ALREADY WAITING 30 MINUTES! I AM INCREDIBLY RELIEVED WE HAVE FINALLY SWITCHED TO A DIFFERENT DOCTOR'S OFFICE

Exceptional care and communication at 3 Villages
Recently relocated to 3 Villages, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The transition has been smooth, and the level of service has been outstanding. Their communication is top-notch, truly setting them apart. I'm genuinely delighted that we chose to switch from our previous healthcare provider. Much appreciation for their professionalism.

Bad!
Frustrating medical care with unhelpful trainee doctors
I consistently struggle to get accurate diagnoses from the current medical staff. The practice appears to rely heavily on trainee physicians who are equally ineffective, and I've witnessed these trainees literally searching Google for answers right in front of me! Scheduling an appointment is incredibly challenging, and there's no option to send a quick email to a doctor for simple inquiries, which would prevent unnecessary in-person visits. The receptionists are intrusive, demanding excessive personal details - not everyone feels comfortable sharing medical concerns with non-medical personnel who have no professional medical training.

Great!
Compassionate care with room for slight improvement
4 Stars because no matter how great a service might seem, there's always potential for enhancement, which I genuinely believe applies here. The entire experience from initial reception through to consultations with physicians has been outstanding. Having resided in Kent for two decades, I can confidently state the medical care here surpasses what I previously experienced in the South East. While I noticed some 1-star reviews mentioning appointment challenges, my experience is that if you clearly communicate the urgency of your medical needs, the staff genuinely attempts to accommodate you. As for the general practitioners I've encountered, they absolutely deserve 5 stars. I appreciate their approach of treating me as an informed adult, involving me in discussions about recommended medications and treatments, and they have been consistently exceptional in this regard.

Bad!
Terrible service and unprofessional medical staff everywhere
Not quite sure where to start... One receptionist is downright discourteous. Once, I completed a form about an upcoming appointment, then had to call back for clarification as no one responded. When I did, she rudely claimed she'd emailed me and it was my mistake for missing it. Upon her checking, she realized she hadn't sent the email and begrudgingly rescheduled my appointment. This was the older receptionist around 3 weeks ago. My midwife throughout my pregnancy did the absolute minimum. No advice or support whatsoever, I felt like a mere administrative task, questioning the purpose of having a midwife at all, which is truly disappointing. During one conversation about my mental health and its impact on my work, her only response was a dismissive "aw". No mental health guidance was provided. When I went to have my baby vaccinated, I requested to reschedule by a few days as my baby was unwell. The vaccine administrator passive-aggressively called the GP, claiming "she is refusing vaccines, isn't it important?" to which the GP affirmed. I simply wanted to reschedule, not cancel. She then proceeded to lecture me about infant mortality from missed vaccines, despite my intention to proceed, just at a later date. This came after the practice initially failed to provide correct appointment information. Where was this same energy when their staff mishandled my initial communication? Today, after calling last week to secure an appointment, a receptionist said I could book over the phone. Without internet access, she offered to complete the booking. I mentioned suspecting tonsillitis from previous experiences and likely needing antibiotics. Four hours later, I received a text directing me to a pharmacy. Seven days of continued pain later, I finally got an appointment. Upon entering, I apparently didn't hear her initial invitation, prompting her sharp "can you NOT hear?!" I explained my hearing might be affected by the tonsil infection. The GP rushed through questions, barely allowing me to respond, insisting it was probably COVID, yet prescribed antibiotics due to throat spots - all without examining my ears or tonsils.

Great medical care at three villages practice
Despite the prevalent critiques of general practitioners, I feel compelled to commend Three Villages Medical Practice in Stourbridge. Their screening and assessment approach is highly effective, offering in-person consultations when necessary while maintaining an exceptional remote service. My experience with Dr Harrison has been outstanding, and I cannot emphasize enough the quality of care provided. We recently received our booster shots at the practice, and the entire experience was impeccable—from the initial invitation through the straightforward booking system to the efficient and swift administration on the day of vaccination.

Nurse Kay made my smear test surprisingly comfortable
A truly remarkable encounter during the typically anxiety-inducing cervical screening, all credit to the incredible nurse Kay. Her compassionate demeanor and outstanding professionalism completely transformed my perception. Moving forward, I'll approach these screenings with far less apprehension, thanks to this exceptional healthcare professional.

Terrible medical service with unprofessional communication
Scheduling an appointment requires completing an online form, after which they promise to contact you via phone in a fortnight. My scheduled time was 9:30, but they called me at 3:00 PM and disconnected after a single ring. They then left an aggressive voicemail claiming they attempted to reach me without success and demanded I reschedule. When I immediately returned the call, the doctor flatly refused to speak with me. The receptionist was helpful and managed to secure me an appointment with another physician the following day. The doctor's conduct was absolutely unacceptable.

Compassionate phlebotomist makes medical visit a breeze
Today, I went to see Lydia Smith for my blood draw. Despite being preoccupied with various thoughts, I found her incredibly supportive throughout our ongoing relationship. Her professional demeanor, empathetic listening skills, and valuable guidance have been truly appreciated. I sincerely hope she continues to succeed in her career and personal endeavors.

Throughout my interactions with this medical practice, the staff—from administrators to nurses and doctors—have consistently provided outstanding care. Their approach is characterized by compassion and professionalism, even when facing significant challenges. I am deeply appreciative of how they have supported both myself and my family with such remarkable dedication and empathy.

Unacceptable care for patients in urgent need
After experiencing trauma from domestic violence, I was grappling with severe stress and anxiety and required immediate medical attention. To my dismay, the medical practice informed me I would need to wait two weeks, with the consultation being limited to a phone call. I strongly believe this practice demonstrates a significant failure in providing appropriate patient care and support. Their approach seems callous and inadequate, especially for someone in a vulnerable state. I would strongly caution anyone considering registering with this medical practice to carefully reconsider their options.

Terrible website needs complete overhaul now
Scrap this terrible website and simply employ additional front desk staff. Attempting to use the site is maddening and even when you do, it barely functions, those hardworking receptionists are frantically scrambling as if they're in complete chaos

Extremely efficient service today - my email was swiftly addressed and I received a follow-up phone call shortly after. The team provided comprehensive assistance and guidance, which reinforced my decision to join this practice years ago. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the support I received. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff members x

Trusted medical care for decades, highly recommended
Our family has been receiving medical services from this practice for over three and a half decades, consistently experiencing top-notch care. Recently, my husband underwent a comprehensive telephone consultation for his ongoing health management, which went smoothly. Additionally, he had an extremely detailed phone-based medication review with one of the physicians just yesterday. Both appointments were conveniently scheduled through the online booking system, and we are grateful for the ease of access.

Worst medical practice ever terrible service
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would! The receptionist lacks basic phone etiquette and is completely unhelpful. Their entire system forces you to use the website, and the doctor's responses reveal a stunning level of professional incompetence! I submitted six separate scheduling requests, explicitly stating my unavailable times, yet they repeatedly attempted to book me during those exact periods I said I couldn't attend. When patients raise concerns, their default response is to suggest going to the hospital - a clear indication they're unwilling to address any issues properly. I'm absolutely switching healthcare providers, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this practice entirely.

Fantastic service from a caring and efficient practice
I joined this medical practice just 7 weeks back, and the sign-up procedure was remarkably straightforward and quick, with my registration confirmed within a few hours. My interaction with the doctor was exceptional - they were compassionate, took time to listen, and provided valuable guidance. The administrative staff have been equally impressive, handling all my communications and requests with professionalism and promptness. Having experienced significant challenges at my previous practice, where I couldn't secure a GP appointment for 4 years, I would caution anyone considering leaving this practice. Three Villages Medical Centre has genuinely renewed my confidence in healthcare providers and medical practice support.

Worst medical service ever terrible website experience
This establishment lacks basic professional standards that would typically lead to its closure. Their digital platform is so inadequate that it doesn't even provide a simple scheduling feature for medical consultations.

Frustrating registration process with poor communication
Attempted to sign up with the medical practice. Got an automated response, identical to what everyone receives after submitting their form, requesting I bring identification. Given the pandemic protocols, I expected they'd want to minimize in-person visits and would likely confirm appointment necessity before requiring physical presence. However, no further communication came through, and I was ultimately sent a message stating my registration had been denied, which was particularly frustrating since I had been registered with them in the past.
