Their primary solution is to direct patients to an online triage system that is frustratingly inefficient - submit a form at 8 am, and you'll wait five days for a response, potentially resulting in an appointment weeks later or a doctor's callback at a time convenient only to them, with no consideration for patients' work schedules. They seem oblivious to the fact that patients have professional commitments too. Their alternative suggestions of calling 111 or visiting A&E are frequently inappropriate for issues best addressed by a general practitioner. It's truly disheartening because when you do eventually manage to see a doctor, they are actually quite pleasant and competent!
