Doctors Who Didn't Care About Me

Absolute worst medical practice. Dr. Laima displayed shocking unprofessionalism, yelling at me during calls and abruptly hanging up. Subsequently, Dr. Jude suggested I apologize to her, which was completely inappropriate. Their gossip about patients seems unethical, and I desperately wish our conversations were documented. Dr. Jude fabricated a medical emergency to cut short my telephone consultation and deliberately avoided returning my call. Multiple scheduled phone appointments were simply abandoned - no communication, no explanation. Their approach involves diagnosing patients remotely without any proper examination of the actual medical concern. When they actually call, it's never close to the scheduled time, essentially making it impossible to plan anything - even a bathroom break could cause you to miss their unpredictable contact. Even responding immediately doesn't guarantee your consultation slot, with absurd claims of time expiration within mere minutes. Hypocritically, they warn patients against online research while their own doctors repeatedly Google information during consultations. The receptionists are equally discourteous, behaving as if their administrative role equates to medical expertise. Dr. Thompson was the sole bright spot in this otherwise disastrous experience. I could elaborate extensively, but my advice is simple: avoid this practice at all costs.

Couldn't Get Through After Hours of Calling

I've been a patient at this medical practice since 2004, and for many years, I was thoroughly satisfied with everything - from the doctors to the support staff. However, my satisfaction has steadily declined over the past five to six years. Today perfectly illustrates my frustration: I've been attempting to schedule an appointment since 8:30 this morning, but by 4 pm, I've given up entirely because no one bothered to answer the phone. I simply cannot waste an entire day trying to secure a medical consultation when I have more pressing matters to attend to. Furthermore, the continuity of care has become problematic. I used to know my assigned physician, but after they left, I was transferred to another doctor. Now that this doctor has also departed, I'm completely in the dark about who my current registered physician is. When I occasionally manage to secure a phone consultation, I'm left playing a guessing game about which doctor I'll be speaking with. The staff seem disinterested and give the distinct impression that they're just working through a list of calls without any genuine concern for patient care.

It seems they completely disregard the fact that people have work commitments. The healthcare service has been deteriorating for years, and the decline continues unabated, with absolutely no effort to provide patients with clear information or help them navigate access to general practitioners.

Booking Nightmare at My Local GP Practice

The medical staff are excellent, HOWEVER, their appointment scheduling is utterly dysfunctional. When you urgently require medical consultation, the process is incredibly frustrating. You're expected to phone precisely at 8am to secure a slot, but the phone lines are perpetually jammed. Even if you miraculously get through, all available appointments are already gone, and you're simply told to try again the next day. This system desperately needs an overhaul that considers individual patient requirements and gives proper weight to more critical medical situations. The doctors themselves are top-notch, but the booking mechanism is fundamentally broken and needs immediate redesign.

Cold and Impersonal Doctor's Visit

One would expect a medical consultation to offer a compassionate, supportive, and empathetic space for discussing health concerns. However, with a single exception, every physician I've encountered here seems to view the patient merely as a clinical case to be processed - nothing more. A simple acknowledgment of the emotional distress (particularly in my situation involving mental health) could have provided significant emotional relief, yet such basic human connection appears to be completely absent. These doctors have elevated professional detachment to an extraordinary level of impersonality. At least the reception staff demonstrate a sense of genuine care and willingness to help, giving the impression that they themselves are not adequately supported within the system.

Elderly Patients Waiting Hours for Covid Vaccine

My 93-year-old grandmother is waiting for her Covid vaccination. Her scheduled time was 10am, but it's now 10:30am, and the staff's only explanation is that people arrived ahead of their slots. Apparently, around 200 individuals are causing delays. She still hasn't received her shot. The situation is incredibly frustrating, with numerous elderly people forced to stand in a lengthy line during chilly conditions. The entire process seems completely disorderly and inconsiderate of the vulnerable participants.
