I rarely post negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my ongoing challenges with this medical practice. Regrettably, this appears to be one of the most poorly managed GP surgeries in Brighton and Hove. Securing a doctor's appointment is incredibly difficult, which I acknowledge is a widespread issue across many practices. However, Trinity Medical Centre takes this frustration to another level by categorically refusing to schedule any future appointments, even months in advance. Their appointment system requires calling precisely at 8:00am, followed by an hour-long hold, with no guarantee of actually obtaining an appointment. When I finally managed to secure a consultation, the doctor's demeanor was shockingly unprofessional. From the moment I entered, I was made to feel rushed and insignificant, constantly reminded of the strict 10-minute time limit. Despite booking the appointment for a specific concern, I was prevented from discussing additional health matters. The physician's approach was so dismissive that I was constantly interrupted, unable to complete a single sentence. The experience was so demeaning that I left the consultation in tears, feeling completely disrespected and unheard. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I advise against choosing this surgery. :(

Following his recommendation, I joined the queue at the front desk. After an exasperating 40-minute wait, I finally reached the receptionist and repeated my request. To my absolute dismay, she casually informed me that online booking was the only method available. The sheer waste of time was infuriating, as this crucial information could and should have been communicated at the start of my wait. Adding to my frustration, the online booking system is currently non-operational, which means my entire visit was completely futile. Such substandard service is simply unacceptable and demands immediate improvement.

A compassionate individual who seems misaligned with his current professional environment, being a GP in today's NHS is arguably the most challenging role in British society. The appointment evoked memories of my own exhausting years as an NHS GDP, where balancing administrative demands, clinical documentation, and patient care felt utterly insurmountable. I ultimately resigned after two decades. Medical professionals enter this field with genuine intentions of supporting patients' physical and psychological needs, investing years in rigorous training, believing themselves competent and prepared. However, upon qualification, they're abruptly thrust into a harsh reality. Immediately, they're constrained by relentless time pressures - a metaphorical stopwatch dictating every interaction. Just 10 minutes to comprehensively review patient history, listen attentively, conduct examinations, formulate diagnoses, implement treatments, document findings, and coordinate care - all while an oppressive timer counts down mercilessly. I apologize, dear colleague, and consciously attempted to minimize additional strain during our consultation. My gratitude extends to you for maintaining this essential service despite overwhelming challenges.

After multiple phone calls, I received a form to complete, but the appointment request system is only accessible at 8:30 AM. To make matters worse, the link was non-functional for an entire week, with daily promises of imminent restoration that never materialized. Each attempt to seek medical care leaves me feeling like an unwelcome inconvenience.

Painful vaccine left my daughter traumatized and hurting

We visited the clinic on November 11th, 2024, for my daughter's immunization. Having gone through 10-12 vaccinations since her birth, this particular experience was by far the most distressing and painful. The nurse administered the shot extremely poorly, causing significant arm pain that persisted for two days and completely disrupted her sleep. Unlike previous vaccinations, this was unprecedented in its severity. I was genuinely stunned witnessing her intense discomfort, to the point where I myself couldn't tolerate the injection's impact. It's clear that healthcare professionals must exercise greater gentleness and precision when vaccinating children. Additionally, a concerning red swelling had developed in her private area over the preceding four days, prompting us to contact 111. The attending nurse consulted a doctor who merely suggested scheduling another appointment, refusing immediate examination despite our urgent concerns about the spreading inflammation. We even reached out to the emergency room, hoping for an immediate assessment, but were summarily dismissed. I can unequivocally state this is the most incompetent medical practice I've encountered. Their apparent indifference to patient experiences and potential health risks is deeply troubling, demonstrating a complete lack of compassion for patients and their loved ones.
