Feedback across this file reveals a practice marked by significant operational challenges that dominate patient experience. Appointment access remains the most persistent concern, with patients reporting extreme difficulty securing slots through phone booking systems that become fully booked within minutes of opening at 8am, long waiting periods on hold, and frequent call disconnections. Reception experience is frequently cited as problematic, with patients describing staff as discourteous, dismissive, and unhelpful when explaining medical concerns. Phone responsiveness is consistently poor, with extended hold times and unresponsive systems creating barriers to care access. Communication breakdowns extend to missed telephone consultations and inadequate information provision about appointment requirements.
Positive feedback, though less frequent, highlights compassionate care from specific clinical staff members, attentive physicians who conduct thorough examinations, and supportive nursing teams. Some patients report good experiences with reception courtesy and responsive communication when they do connect with staff. However, these positive interactions appear inconsistent across the practice.
The practice's operational model of same-day booking only, combined with limited appointment availability and staffing constraints, creates systemic barriers that patients find frustrating and impractical. Concerns about continuity of care, lengthy waiting times in clinical settings, and disorganised operations are recurring themes. The overall impression is of a practice struggling with capacity management and patient-centred service delivery, despite some individual staff members providing quality care.

Rude receptionist ruins patient's medical experience
The receptionist's service at this surgery was absolutely terrible today. I scheduled a same-day blood test appointment just an hour ahead, but the receptionist neglected to inform me that it required fasting and should have been booked for a different day. Additionally, they failed to mention that the blood test was actually scheduled at another location. I mistakenly arrived at this surgery, feeling like I was at fault for the confusion. One receptionist was visibly in a foul mood, sitting with her hand on her cheek looking sullen. She initially told my family member they couldn't get a repeat prescription at this surgery, but then abruptly changed her stance and instructed me to complete the form for my family member. My family member is perfectly capable of handling this independently! The phone system constantly plays an automated message about the NHS and surgery's zero-tolerance policy for patient abuse, yet ironically, some of their own staff desperately need customer service training. This particular receptionist was consistently unhelpful and unprofessional. Having been a patient here for nearly two decades, I'm deeply disappointed to see the surgery's standards deteriorate, particularly in their front-of-house staff.

Frustrating healthcare experience with poor appointment system
Would rate zero stars if possible. This establishment has seriously deteriorated over time. Securing an appointment has become nearly impossible. It was far more efficient when the online booking form was available. Not everyone can make calls at 8am or physically visit during those hours!

Unresponsive medical center fails patient communication test
I'm deeply dissatisfied with my interactions at Tulasi Medical Center. Throughout this week, starting Monday, I've made repeated call attempts, all of which have been summarily dismissed without any rationale provided. Such complete communication breakdown is incredibly vexing and worrisome, especially considering the critical nature of healthcare accessibility. I sincerely urge them to resolve this communication problem as quickly as possible.

Terrible medical centre with poor patient care
Absolutely terrible healthcare facility that I strongly recommend avoiding. It's impossible to have a meaningful conversation with any medical professional, and they force patients to endure endless waiting periods without providing necessary medication. They abruptly discontinued my treatment, and to make matters worse, their receptionist lacks discretion, publicly reading patient reports over the phone where everyone can overhear sensitive medical information. The entire experience is completely unacceptable.

Frustrating patient access app and clinic experience
Completely absurd. I attempted to schedule an appointment via the patient access app and secured a phone consultation. The day after the scheduled date, I received a message indicating it was booked with the incorrect doctor. Why couldn't they have informed me a week earlier so I could have rectified the issue? Instead, I'm forced to call, only to be told by an unhelpful receptionist that I must phone at 8 am or physically come in - with no alternative options, despite already having an appointment. The service is utterly deplorable. It's no surprise they've faced scrutiny from the CQC.

Unprofessional and disrespectful medical care nightmare
Absolutely repulsive. I scheduled a consultation for 11:50, but wasn't seen until 12:20! Even worse, they prioritized patients with later appointment times before me. The front desk staff were chatting and giggling, creating an unprofessional atmosphere that made the entire visit unpleasant. The physician I was assigned seemed irritable and unfriendly, making my overall encounter thoroughly unsatisfactory.

Caring nurse eases blood test anxiety
During my recent visit for blood work, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional care I received. The young nurse who attended to me, sporting a pair of glasses, demonstrated remarkable skill and empathy. Aware of my slight apprehension towards needles, she went above and beyond to ensure I felt at ease throughout the procedure. Her reassuring presence and professional demeanor helped alleviate my concerns, making the experience far more comfortable than I had anticipated. I must say, since becoming a patient here, every interaction has been overwhelmingly positive. The level of care and attention to detail has consistently exceeded my expectations, and I'm optimistic that this trend will persist in future visits.

Disastrous care at local medical center
Absolutely dreadful medical facility with incompetent staff and a complete lack of professional care. The entire experience was frustrating and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a patient who needed help. Would never recommend this place to anyone seeking medical treatment.

Frustrating healthcare journey with endless waiting
I attempted to schedule an appointment, but heard nothing back for a fortnight. When I finally spoke with staff member Jed today, he instructed me to arrive at the surgery early morning, book a slot at eight, and then return again. I'm in a difficult situation, living two miles from the clinic. The process involves waiting first two hours for an appointment, and then another two hours. What has become of our healthcare system?

Javeria Khan: A breakthrough in shoulder care
I'm thrilled to award Javeria Khan, the exceptional physiotherapist, a perfect five-star rating. For a quarter of a century, I've been grappling with persistent shoulder discomfort, yet no medical professional - be it a doctor, neuro physiotherapist, or neurologist - had ever thoroughly examined it. Ms. Khan stands out as the first practitioner to conduct a comprehensive assessment of my range of motion. Her approach was characterized by kindness, attentiveness, and a wealth of expertise, all while ensuring that every aspect of my condition was explained in a manner I could easily grasp. Given my previous experiences, I had harbored skepticism about receiving effective assistance. However, I'm delighted to admit that my doubts were unfounded. It brings me immense joy and relief to have Ms. Khan as my dedicated physiotherapist.

Worst medical experience ever terrible healthcare service
This establishment is so ineffective that it deserves to be closed permanently. The front desk staff are discourteous during phone interactions but marginally more pleasant face-to-face. Physicians consistently minimize patient concerns and dismiss potential health issues. Scheduling is perpetually behind, making appointments difficult to secure, and obtaining medication refills is an exercise in futility.

Unprofessional clinic wastes patients' precious time
Subpar Service. Unacceptable Waiting Times and Patient Disrespect My recent visit to Tulasi Medical Centre was a deeply frustrating experience that highlighted significant shortcomings in their professional standards. The clinic's receptionists demonstrated a shocking lack of consideration for patients, with deliberate and unnecessary delays seemingly stemming from internal workplace tensions. Despite arriving precisely on time for my scheduled appointment, I encountered a clear display of disorganization and intentional inefficiency. It became evident that an ongoing conflict between receptionists and nursing staff was directly impacting patient care. Patients were arbitrarily labeled as "late," forcing them to either reschedule or endure extended waiting periods. The practice of deliberately obstructing patient check-in is not just unprofessional, but deeply disrespectful. Many patients have critical time constraints and commitments, making prolonged waiting times both inconvenient and unacceptable. A healthcare facility should prioritize efficient, timely care over internal disputes. By manipulating appointment schedules and creating intentional delays, the staff at Tulasi Medical Centre demonstrated a complete disregard for patients' time and needs. Such behavior is particularly troubling in a medical setting where individuals seek critical healthcare support, often under time-sensitive circumstances. These deliberate delays have broader implications beyond mere inconvenience. Prolonged wait times compromise overall patient care, leading to increased frustration, overburdened schedules, and a significant decline in patient satisfaction. When internal conflicts overshadow patient needs, the entire healthcare experience suffers. As someone who values efficient healthcare delivery, I feel compelled to highlight these serious shortcomings. Management must immediately address the underlying issues causing these systematic delays and implement meaningful changes. Patients have a fundamental right to expect that scheduled appointments will be honored professionally, regardless of any internal staff disagreements. A medical facility must prioritize patient care above all else, and Tulasi Medical Centre falls dramatically short of these basic expectations. Given my deeply disappointing experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this clinic to others seeking reliable medical attention. Patients deserve a healthcare environment that genuinely values their time and treats them with fundamental respect and dignity. We entrust medical professionals with our most precious asset—our health—and they must consistently demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism and patient care.

Compassionate care for elderly patient at clinic
I recently accompanied my 82-year-old mother to the Bennett Castle Lane Surgery, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. Upon contacting the reception the previous day to explain her concerns, we were pleasantly surprised when a doctor promptly returned her call the following morning. Recognizing the potential severity of her symptoms, they swiftly arranged a same-day in-person consultation. The female physician who attended to my mother was remarkably compassionate and thorough. She conducted a meticulous examination, taking ample time to address all of my mother's concerns without any sense of haste. The doctor clearly explained the need for additional tests, ensuring we understood the next steps in her care. Following the appointment, we had some queries for the reception staff, who proved to be incredibly accommodating and cordial. Their warmth and efficiency further enhanced our positive experience. What truly stood out was how this visit alleviated my mother's anxieties. As her child, I'm immensely appreciative of the practice's attentiveness and professionalism. It's reassuring to know that my mother is receiving such high-quality care in her golden years.

Frustrating medical centre with zero availability
Absolutely the most terrible healthcare facility I've ever encountered. I've been attempting to schedule an appointment for nearly a week, but they're consistently at full capacity. I start calling as early as 8 am, and for an entire hour, no one picks up the phone. When I finally get through, they simply state that they're fully booked.

Medical negligence fails worried parent's hopes
I rushed my 11-year-old to the emergency room after he fell unconscious, expecting at minimum a blood screening, but no tests were performed. Desperate for answers, I contacted Tulasi Medical Centre, hoping as a concerned parent they might help me obtain a blood test for my child's wellbeing. Despite my emotional plea, they flatly refused to assist. It's frustrating that despite paying taxes, I'm now forced to either wait an excruciatingly long 5-month period or shell out private fees just to get a simple blood test for my son's health :-(

Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful medical staff
Called to schedule an appointment and was informed they had no availability. When I asked if there were truly no slots at all, they suggested I call daily to check for potential openings. This is completely unacceptable. I'm switching healthcare providers due to this incredibly unhelpful and frustrating medical practice.

Frustrating and unreliable medical appointment experience
Scheduled a phone consultation, but got a message stating the GP would call sometime after 11:30. Waited until 3:15, contacted the surgery, and discovered no call was received on either mobile or landline. No staff member was available to address the issue, leaving us sitting by the phone the entire time with no missed call. Absolutely terrible and unprofessional service.
