The medical staff are consistently supportive and efficient, promptly approving repeat prescriptions through the NHS app, which makes medication collection straightforward and convenient.

Anima app fails to address my medication concerns

I reached out to my GP Surgery through their Anima app to discuss a potential adjustment to my current prescription. Initially, I was optimistic when a response appeared in my inbox on the same day... but that quickly faded upon reading the message. They claimed to have "developed an action plan" and summarily dismissed the case, suggesting I review my Repeat Prescriptions. Upon checking, I discovered the GP had simply issued another prescription for the exact same medication I'm already taking!! With the case now closed, I'm left without any means to follow up. This experience is entirely consistent with the majority of my interactions with Twyford GP Surgery over the past three years, which have been consistently frustrating. Utterly ineffective.

Frustrating healthcare experience with impossible communication

Absolutely Abysmal Service. They've deliberately engineered barriers that obstruct patient communication. Gone are the days of simple phone scheduling; now you're forced to navigate a web application that's exclusively functional during limited office hours. To make matters worse, they dispatch emails from unidentified addresses that automatically land in spam, then use this as a pretext to deny medication access when patients inevitably miss their cryptic communications. The level of incompetence is staggering.

Outstanding medical care with tricky booking system

I've been a patient at this practice for three decades, and they've consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism and helpfulness. I genuinely cannot speak more highly of their services. The new Anima booking system initially presents a learning curve and can be somewhat challenging, particularly when attempting to schedule with a preferred physician (seemingly requiring repeated link clicks until the desired doctor becomes available). However, after familiarizing myself with the system, I now find it quite functional, though some patient guidance would have been beneficial, especially for older individuals like myself. Overall, the staff across the board provides an outstanding level of care. My sincere appreciation to the entire team.

Securing my prescription can be challenging due to availability constraints, but Krisy and the medical staff (especially during urgent situations) consistently go above and beyond to help. Terrible service and endless waiting for anima appointments

The new animal appointment service is completely ineffective. I seldom need to book appointments, but when I do want a consultation, their response is terrible. I've been waiting for three hours just to get a scheduled time. This is hands down the most disappointing veterinary practice I've ever encountered - my previous clinic was exceptional by comparison.

Frustrating healthcare experience with poor prescription management

They have transitioned to "Enima" for booking appointments. Following up on prescriptions through this system is impossible. Once again, I endured a lengthy phone call because my prescription, ordered the previous week, hadn't been sent to the pharmacy. Last Thursday, they sent an email, and I contacted the surgery, who assured me they would forward the prescription to the pharmacy (which never occurred!). I'm now relying on emergency medication since the pharmacy is familiar with my long-standing medical history. Otherwise, I would have run out of medication by last Saturday night. I'll still only award this surgery 1 star, solely because it's the sole medical practice in the area!

Terrible service and unhelpful medical reception staff

I attempted to schedule an in-person consultation today for any future date, as recommended by my physician, but was informed this was unfeasible. When I inquired about calling back another day, I was curtly told that my medical concern wasn't urgent, and consequently, I would never be able to secure a face-to-face appointment. I'm completely bewildered by the current state of this medical practice. The reception staff seem overwhelmed and demonstrate zero willingness to assist. My most recent interaction with Dr. Zetina involved her initially declining to provide a referral until I persistently pressed the issue. Healthcare access should absolutely not be this challenging and frustrating.

Terrible medical practice with unhelpful staff

Terrible encounter with this medical practice. The front desk staff are discourteous and ineffective. I requested assistance completing a medical form required for employment and was instructed to leave it with them, with a promise they would process it. After a week of waiting, I inquired about the status and was informed they hadn't yet reviewed the document and would contact me when ready. Two weeks subsequently, upon visiting in person, I was abruptly told they won't complete the form and I must seek private medical services. Not only is it infuriating that during my sole interaction with the NHS they refuse to help, but they also failed to communicate their inability to handle the form, resulting in me wasting three weeks waiting for a response. Completely incompetent.

Bureaucratic nightmare destroys patient's health and hope

Completely unfit for medical care. The system has failed me utterly, as I've been denied ongoing prescription medication simply because my initial diagnosis originated in another region. The bureaucratic hurdle of obtaining a new specialist diagnosis is an excruciatingly lengthy process spanning years, which has directly contributed to a significant deterioration in my health. Consequently, I have lost all trust and confidence in this general practitioner.

Lifesaving care for my baby at local surgery

My wife and I have consistently had exceptional encounters at this clinic. They genuinely strive to minimize wait times and the entire team is incredibly friendly. We brought our infant in today due to a fever and cough. They accommodated us swiftly and ensured he received the necessary antibiotics before the holiday weekend. When I later called because he turned purple and blotchy, they still saw us on a late Friday evening! The baby is now doing well. Dr. Simon was incredibly meticulous and compassionate, making both myself and my child feel completely comfortable. The receptionist was equally wonderful, engaging my son in playful peekaboo and keeping us informed about wait times (which were remarkably short). We feel incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding healthcare service right in our neighborhood, and at no cost! Every staff member works tremendously hard, and I am profoundly appreciative of this remarkable medical practice. Heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated professionals who work here!

Despite being a bustling medical facility with limited staff, this practice offers compassionate care.
