Amazing healthcare with compassionate and efficient staff

Heartless care at bath university medical centre

Where is your humanity?? Our daughter fell critically ill during her initial days at Bath University, battling a severe infection, and we were left feeling utterly helpless. Being situated over 5 hours away, our family was in complete emotional turmoil. The reception staff demonstrated an appalling lack of compassion, seemingly forgetting the fundamental principles of a service meant to provide care and support. Disgraceful behavior, University Medical Centre!!!

Gentle nurse makes blood test almost painless

Despite my typical anxiety around injections, my blood draw today was surprisingly manageable thanks to Tamsin Quirke. Her compassionate approach and skillful technique made the procedure far less intimidating than I expected. She was incredibly gentle and precise, minimizing any discomfort. I'd go so far as to say this was about as good as a blood test can possibly be for someone who's needle-phobic.

Unsupportive gp failed me during critical health journey

As a student, I registered with the university medical centre as my GP. When the bath hospital sought scans, I reached out to the centre for results, but since they hadn't originally ordered the scans, they declined to assist. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, they remained uncooperative during this critical period. Being a student far from home, I was completely unsupported, and they were fully aware these scans were investigating potential cancer. Their lack of compassion left me feeling isolated and deeply disappointed by their substandard care.

Worst medical service ever, completely unresponsive

I desperately sought a same-day consultation due to my worsening Tonsillitis, which was causing me significant discomfort. I reached out via phone and email, emphasizing the critical nature of my condition as my symptoms were rapidly deteriorating. They assured me a physician would contact me promptly, but I ended up waiting the entire day. I made multiple follow-up calls to check my status, and they repeatedly claimed I was on the waiting list and would be contacted before the practice closed. When 6 PM arrived, I had received no communication whatsoever. The medical center became completely unresponsive, forcing me to seek treatment at the hospital. What on earth do British healthcare providers consider an urgent medical situation?!?!? The level of care and responsiveness is absolutely appalling.
