I've had immense difficulty securing an in-person consultation because I'm uncomfortable sharing personal health details over the phone with an unfamiliar person. After finally obtaining an appointment, the general practitioner completely dismissed my concerns and ignored all the medical documentation and tests I'd previously undergone during a visit to my home country for urgent health matters. The GP reluctantly provided a referral, and thankfully, the hospital specialist actually listened and took my symptoms seriously. I'm frustrated that I must navigate this complicated and ineffective primary care system just to receive proper medical attention. Additionally, there's an inexplicable communication issue where I can call the practice, but when they attempt to contact me, they cannot hear me - effectively forcing me to potentially discuss sensitive medical information in public or crowded spaces where privacy is compromised.

The front desk staff are incredibly unprofessional, loudly announcing personal health details in a crowded waiting area and speaking with a patronizing attitude. Obtaining an appointment was an exhausting process, involving multiple in-person visits and phone calls, only to have the scheduled appointment cancelled, forcing me to restart the entire scheduling process and ultimately settle for a telephone consultation. Despite being assured that my paperwork would be immediately processed, when I followed up three months later to inquire about its status, I discovered they had not even initiated the submission. This complete lack of communication and administrative incompetence was unacceptable. As a result of these repeated frustrations, I have since transferred my medical care to another general practitioner.

Worst centre ever at 11 am

Absolutely dreadful medical facility! Steer clear at all costs! Attempting to schedule a simple appointment has been a nightmare, with reception consistently claiming they're fully booked. Even during a genuine health emergency, they flatly refused to provide me with a consultation slot, repeatedly insisting they were completely occupied. Their dishonesty is shocking - I was first in line and was told they were closing soon, despite it being only 11:00 am when their official hours extend until 5 pm. The receptionists are incredibly discourteous and unprofessional, always demanding to know the reason for seeking medical attention. Obviously, if it weren't critical, I wouldn't be contacting them! Their lack of common sense is astounding. What an absolute embarrassment! The numerous negative reviews are entirely justified. One star is genuinely generous. They demonstrate a complete absence of professional ethics, proper conduct, empathy, and basic human compassion. The entire system should immediately replace this staff with competent, caring professionals. Their service is not just unhelpful, but actively detrimental and incompetent.

My sole interaction with this medical facility involved painfully limping across the university grounds, nursing a fractured toe (caused by getting my foot caught in a revolving door), desperately seeking medical attention. The front desk staff treated me with complete disrespect, curtly informing me they weren't taking patients and dismissively directing me to trek back across campus to University Nursing Services. They were so unhelpful that they wouldn't even provide me with a simple ice pack. Subsequently, a friend transported me to Canterbury Hospital, where a radiographic examination definitively verified my toe was indeed broken.

The way they mistreat their patients is appalling, and anyone considering using their services should be warned: it's far from simple. The front desk staff are arguably the most incompetent I've ever encountered. A medical center's fundamental purpose is to assist anyone who enters, which is the very reason such institutions were originally established. Yet the employees are incredibly rigid, adhering to an inflexible, exhausting, and maddening procedure that must be followed precisely. Once you finally manage to see a doctor or nurse, you'll find they are equally unhelpful and demonstrate an abysmal standard of patient care.

Calling the surgery is always a breeze, with minimal wait times, and I've consistently managed to secure same-day consultations via phone for both myself and my young child during urgent situations. The reception staff are hands-down the most pleasant and accommodating I've ever encountered in a GP office, and the physicians are equally impressive in their expertise. As an added advantage, the facility itself is attractive, parking is never an issue, and there's a conveniently located pharmacy right next door. It's hard to imagine a more ideal healthcare setup!
