Lack of care from GP's

The reception staff are very nice however it is very clear that the GP's themselves do not care very much abut the wellbeing of their patients. I've had several bad experiences with them the first of which being when I was hospitalised for bloodclots and instead of finding alternative treatment for my PCOS like the doctors in the hospital recommended they kept prescribing me birth control pills with a high risk of causing blood clots until I flat out refused and instead suffered with my PCOS symptoms. Most recently I requested a sick note and after waiting 3 weeks and paying the 25 pound all they wrote in the letter is that they refuse to verify that I am unwell. I will be switching GP clinics and I would suggest others follow suit.
