The appointment booking system requires calling at 8am, which is problematic as I work from 7am five days a week and need substantial notice to arrange time off for a same-day appointment. Reception turned away urgent request without offering triage
I had a disappointing experience with the service today. When I contacted reception about arranging an appointment for my young family member who was experiencing discomfort, I was informed that no slots were available and directed to call an alternative service at 5pm. Upon calling at that time, I was told that all available appointments for the day had been allocated, with only a limited number released daily. In the past, when appointments were unavailable, clinical staff have been able to assess the situation over the phone, arrange appropriate medication, and organise necessary testing. I'm uncertain why this approach is no longer being offered. As a result, I've had to attend an urgent care centre at 5:30pm after spending the day at home with a family member in discomfort. This was not an ideal outcome.

Attended an appointment on Friday and found the clinician unhelpful and lacking in understanding. I was aware of my condition and provided a sample for testing, however the reaction displayed during the examination seemed unprofessional. I hope not to return for future appointments. I attempted to book an appointment when the surgery opened but was unable to secure one, as all slots had already been filled. This seems to be a recurring issue. It's frustrating that the practice is accepting new patients while existing patients struggle to get seen. When I explained my situation, I was directed to contact an alternative service. Given my daughter's additional needs, this wasn't a practical solution for us. I found the overall experience disappointing.
