Despite having the benefit of free healthcare and acknowledging the extraordinary circumstances, it remains frustrating that scheduling an appointment is nearly impossible, calls are frequently dropped, and promised follow-ups never materialize. That said, the medical professionals themselves are excellent when you finally manage to secure a consultation.

I've been a loyal patient at this practice since the days of Dr Lyle and Dr O'Hara, and I've consistently held the doctors and staff in high regard for their exceptional care and professionalism. While that respect remains, the Village Surgery has undergone a transformation from a warm, family-oriented medical practice to a more impersonal, business-like healthcare provider. Securing an appointment has become an arduous daily ritual, where you must participate in a telephone roulette at 8am, only to be informed that you'll need to wait up to two weeks to consult a physician. I'm generally open to changes, but when medical attention is required, such a prolonged waiting period is immensely frustrating.

Three weeks ago, I delivered a prescription list for my elderly mother, requesting urgent pharmacy processing, yet it remains unhandled. The doctor was supposed to follow up after her hospital discharge, but there has been complete radio silence since then.
