I've had the misfortune of all the GP practices in Grantham. Vine Street nurses are excellent. Reception team hit and miss Gps rude,arrogant and unhelpful. Have done more harm and caused more stress than prevented. Refuse to give pre bookable appointments to vulnerable patients with ongoing issues. Don't let you know they've received letters. Don't refer when asked. Generally unpleasant experience

These medical professionals seem completely clueless and incompetent. They would carelessly refer a cardiac patient to a dental specialist without understanding the implications. Their bedside manner is shockingly unprofessional and rude. They're even willing to arbitrarily remove essential medications and force patients through unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles, showing a total disregard for patient care and well-being.

I sought medical help, but the clinic refused to treat me because I was on pain medication. They dismissed me from their practice after I voiced concerns about the doctors not renewing my long-standing prescription. I was abandoned in agony and without my necessary medication. Disrespectful and condescending employees. I've been forced to battle just to get on a waiting list for pain management. Their policies and procedures seem inconsistent, with staff repeatedly shifting their stance on what assistance they can provide. The entire experience has been utterly chaotic and disorganized.

Amazing service with quick gp online requests
I've been a patient at this practice for two decades, and while "ask my gp" might not appeal to everyone, I genuinely believe it's the most incredible improvement to the surgery. Compared to my friends' medical practices using the same system, I feel incredibly fortunate! They're amazed that I receive responses for requests on the same day (even for non-urgent matters), and I can confidently say I've never waited more than an hour for a reply. I occasionally feel slightly uncomfortable selecting "face to face" appointments when they seem reluctant to see patients in person. Being prescribed antibiotics for conditions they haven't even properly examined feels somewhat inappropriate, but overall, I'm quite satisfied with the surgery. I'm curious whether some other reviews might be referring to a different practice, as they mention names that definitely don't work at Vine House Surgery in Grantham!

What's happening with this organization? Scheduling a consultation via telephone is completely unfeasible, and navigating the online booking platform is equally challenging. The system continually crashes, leaving users frustrated. Has anyone on the staff actually attempted to use this booking process? I strongly recommend they try it immediately! And yes, I'm highly tech-savvy and typically manage everything online. I'm thoroughly exasperated by the constant obstacles encountered when attempting to secure an appointment or obtain assistance. PLEASE, for goodness' sake, reorganize your priorities. Without patients, you're not a medical practice - you're merely a group of individuals occupying a healthcare facility.

Fantastic Medical Practice - I registered with this surgery recently, and the reception team handled everything with utmost efficiency and courtesy. When I needed to consult my GP, the process was seamless; I submitted a request at 8:30 AM and had a face-to-face appointment with a wonderful doctor by 11:30 AM. The physician was incredibly professional, taking time to listen and not rushing our consultation. I confidently recommend this practice as the best in the Grantham area. I'd like to supplement my previous review by sharing my experience with Louise, one of the practice nurses, who provided care over several weeks. Her treatment was exceptional, demonstrating remarkable compassion and skill. I truly believe she is an invaluable member of the medical team.

The personnel are welcoming and supportive. The Ask my GP platform operates smoothly. I've consistently been able to report a medical concern when logging in prior to noon and receive a response within the same day, with an in-person consultation arranged if necessary. Even when I've missed the earlier window, I've been able to submit my query the following morning without issue.
