Reception staff treated me with consistent kindness

I have been attending this practice for nearly five decades and have consistently found the reception staff and clinicians to be excellent. Throughout my time as a patient, I have never experienced discourtesy from the reception team. The medical professionals demonstrate genuine care and prioritise their patients' wellbeing.

I have experienced numerous difficulties during my time as a patient at this practice over the past year. There have been problems with medication management, frustrating administrative processes, and considerable delays in securing appointment slots.

Prescription errors and less attentive care now

The practice does not seem to be performing as well as it once did. There have been several issues with medication orders. Additionally, my long-standing clinician appears somewhat detached during appointments and does not provide me with much confidence or peace of mind.

Reception staff made repeated mistakes without apology

I have only needed to attend this practice on two occasions, and I do not intend to return. The reception team came across as dismissive and unhelpful, and they made errors during both visits without offering any apology. Additionally, there was a significant delay with an important referral - it took an extended period before staff properly reviewed the matter and discovered it had not been processed, despite my making several follow-up calls. It is unfortunate, as the clinical staff themselves were excellent, but these experiences have put me off coming back.

Repeat prescriptions forgotten twice in a row

I have not been attending this practice for an extended period, however I have encountered difficulties on two separate occasions when attempting to obtain repeat medications. The practice does not permit telephone requests for repeat prescriptions, and on both instances staff indicated they would transmit my prescription electronically to the pharmacy. Unfortunately, neither transmission reached the pharmacy before I attended to collect it, with staff acknowledging on both occasions that the prescription had not been sent. On one of these occasions, I was additionally provided with an outdated prescription document. I have found this service to be unsatisfactory and have decided to seek care elsewhere.
