Untrustworthy doctors

This Surgery made me to untrust medical personnel. NHS England don't trust All this Surgery does is pump you with medication no matter of the risks. My reason why I don't trust this Surgery. I was taken into hospital with a blood infection over night stay. They took lots of blood from me during the night and agree I had a blood injection give me medication after 5 days I was better. But morning I came out of hospital I was summon to the surgery to be told I was type 2 diabetic honestly I never believe it at the time but the lady doctor also wanted me to take cholesterol medication which I totally refused as I ask how was my cholesterol and was told it was good. After going home and thinking about it I thought same thing as my partner went though different drugs being stuff on her sadly lost her to cancer I blame it on the medication which I'm seeking full list of side effects and if they cause cancer. I was put on metforming now I can say it one dangerous medication they prescribed to us and they know it. All I got was don't believe what you read on the net. Well year later I got my proof from York University metforming kills your organs slowly doctors or corrupt pharmaceutical won't admit anything they are untouchable hides behind government this surgery is as bad as them all. I never was a diabetic at all and please don't say it reversed it self that doctors famous words so for a year they claimed high funding against my name for metforming and I still say they doing it even now I've move 200 miles away

I would rate this practice much lower if possible, as it was previously one of the better clinics in the area. Currently, I feel the standard has declined significantly. If you are seeking women's health support, I found that certain female clinicians did not take my concerns seriously. I also felt that younger patients' health worries were not given adequate attention, with explanations often suggesting symptoms were psychological rather than physical. The clinicians seemed to assume patients had medical knowledge and did not always take time to explain blood test results or discuss findings in detail with those who needed clarification. My frustration grew to the point where I arranged private blood tests due to dissatisfaction with my care. Over a three-year period, I attended approximately thirty appointments at this practice. I would encourage others to carefully consider whether this is the right choice for their healthcare needs, as I did not feel the level of care matched what I would expect. I felt certain clinicians lacked genuine concern and attentiveness to patient needs. My most recent visit was particularly disappointing—I had been experiencing women's health symptoms and requested a cervical screening to be scheduled, but instead received an examination of my abdomen and was dismissed without resolution. This represented a second occasion on which I felt my symptoms were not properly addressed. I have since moved to alternative healthcare provision.

I would strongly advise against using this practice. Obtaining appointments is extremely difficult, and I found the reception staff dismissive of my concerns. I have experienced significant issues with the care provided, which have resulted in serious health consequences for a family member requiring hospital admission on multiple occasions.

Neglected Women's Health: GP Practice Downhill

I am revising my evaluation following discussions with several friends who frequent different GP practices throughout Trafford. It seems I am quite fortunate to be associated with Washway Road. My friends struggle significantly when attempting to reach someone by phone; they consistently find themselves waiting as number 20 or higher in line and frequently face challenges securing an appointment. In contrast, I rarely encounter delays when trying to connect with a receptionist; there are some wonderful staff members available who promptly answer calls and provide assistance. Over the past six months, my interactions with both the administrative personnel and medical practitioners have been quite positive, leaving me without any complaints. The AskMyGP system has proven effective since its recent modifications allow requests to be submitted between 8 AM and 10 AM, eliminating the previous urgency of needing to submit before it fills up or closes for the day. Additionally, the pharmacist on-site is excellent at addressing many medication-related queries, which means patients do not always have to wait for a consultation with their GP. On another note, it's disheartening that women's health issues aren't taken seriously by GPs. My concerns were dismissed when I reported having three menstrual cycles within one month—an occurrence that was trivialized—and instead of support, I was offered a flu vaccination instead of genuine care or attention regarding my symptoms. Feeling neglected in this manner compelled me to seek private healthcare for further evaluation and treatment options. Currently recuperating from a complete hysterectomy along with ovary removal due to severe stage four endometriosis alongside adenomyosis has been challenging enough without additional distress from inadequate responses from healthcare providers during this process. When I reached out again after these significant developments in my health status seeking acknowledgment or support from them about this situation, they didn’t even bother responding—a stark indication of how much this practice’s standards have deteriorated over approximately the past year or so. Additionally, it is important to mention that an identical review was dismissed on the NHS website due specifically because it detailed serious grievances concerning particular services provided at their practice location—this raises questions about how trustworthy their NHS review ratings truly are.

Shocking nhs failure leaves elderly patient suffering

My elderly mother-in-law, aged 79, urgently sought medical help for her severely painful psoriasis, yet was scheduled an appointment two weeks out despite her intense suffering. She attempted to secure an earlier slot but was dismissively redirected to a pharmacy, which was completely inappropriate given her serious medical condition. Unsurprisingly, the pharmacist couldn't provide meaningful assistance. When I intervened and contacted the medical practice, the receptionist was unhelpful and seemingly uninformed about emergency appointments. Upon requesting to speak with management, I was informed about a triage process supposedly completed ten days earlier, but I emphasized that her condition had dramatically worsened - she was now bleeding, in excruciating pain, and unable to sleep. Despite my pleas, the staff member robotically repeated that she already had an appointment in five days. The lack of compassion and professional care was astounding. The NHS appears to have completely abandoned its fundamental responsibility of patient care. Their suggested alternative of waiting 12 hours in A&E is utterly ridiculous. This experience is nothing short of a complete healthcare system failure, demonstrating zero consideration for vulnerable patients' immediate medical needs. Absolutely unacceptable.

Frustrating journey through ineffective medical referral system

Submitted a request for a doctor's appointment on Monday and received no response. When I called on Tuesday, they still couldn't confirm a same-day appointment. With no alternatives and urgent need for medical attention, I was redirected to Trafford General Hospital, where I was eventually given a late afternoon slot. I'm completely baffled by this Washway Road medical practice and question the purpose of a GP who seems to do nothing but pass patients off to other facilities!
