Feedback across the file reveals persistent challenges with appointment access and booking experience. Patients report significant difficulty reaching the practice by phone, with extended waiting times and frequently busy lines preventing contact. Once connected, many encounter limited appointment availability, with some describing waits of months or being offered only inconvenient time slots. Reception experience emerges as a major concern, with multiple reports of discourteous and dismissive staff behaviour, though some patients note courteous interactions. Communication issues are widespread, including contradictory guidance, unresponsive callbacks, and poor coordination between departments affecting prescription handling and specialist referrals.
Waiting experience for appointments is problematic, with patients reporting long delays both before and after scheduled times. Several reviews highlight concerns about responsiveness to patient needs and organisational inefficiency affecting care continuity. However, a minority of patients report positive experiences with accessible facilities, supportive medical professionals, and competent doctors and nurses who provide attentive care. The practice environment is generally described as adequate, though some long-standing patients note a decline in service quality compared to previous locations or management.
The overall pattern suggests systemic operational challenges centred on appointment availability, phone access, and reception experience, alongside variable quality in clinical care and communication. While some staff demonstrate professionalism and compassion, these strengths are overshadowed by widespread frustration with booking systems and accessibility for working patients and those with urgent needs.

Poor!
Compassion Lacking at Front Desk Customer Service
You'd expect the front desk staff to show some empathy, considering they interact with people seeking assistance. While the phone representatives are generally helpful, the receptionists come across as discourteous and intentionally obstructive. I recognize that doctors are swamped, and overall, the experience is mostly positive.

Average!
Friendly staff but disappointing healthcare experience lately
I've been a patient at this medical practice for more than two decades, and like many others, I've noticed a downturn since the pandemic. Despite this, I must commend the reception staff, who consistently demonstrate warmth and support. My primary frustration lies in the difficulty of securing a face-to-face appointment with a general practitioner. Instead, I'm typically directed to speak with a pharmacist (who, I should emphasize, are always exceptionally courteous and competent) or receive a remote telephone consultation.

Terrible doctors surgery with zero professionalism
This medical practice is absolutely the most unprofessional and dismissive surgery I've ever encountered. For nearly half a year, I've been waiting for them to respond to DVLA regarding my driving licence application, and despite multiple reminders from DVLA, they've been completely unresponsive. As a BSc psychology student aiming to work in NHS addiction counselling, losing my driving ability could potentially derail my entire career. Recently, when I sought help for persistent bloating and requested a stomach scan, the doctor's response was shockingly inappropriate. After a perfunctory examination, he simply told me I was overweight, and when I mentioned a hospital nurse's suggestion about fluid buildup, he mockingly laughed it off as mere consolation. It's outrageous that a privately owned healthcare provider can behave so callously without consequences. The lack of accountability is truly disheartening. 😢

Excellent!
Reliable and friendly healthcare facility
A solid healthcare facility that meets basic expectations. The staff seems competent and the environment appears clean and professional. Nothing extraordinary, but reliable and functional for routine medical needs.

Disappointing physio resource center with zero help
After consulting a pharmacist regarding my intense shoulder, neck, and collarbone discomfort, I followed their recommendation to seek a walk-in physiotherapy appointment at the resource center. Unfortunately, I discovered they have discontinued this service since the pandemic. The reception staff were courteous, yet ultimately provided no practical assistance for my medical needs.

Terrible nurse destroyed our healthcare experience
Absolutely worthless product - if there was a zero-star option, I'd choose it. The nurse on duty deserves to be fired, and I'm absolutely filing an official complaint about her appalling treatment of my husband. She's completely incompetent and clearly doesn't give a damn about patient care, seemingly only interested in collecting a paycheck.

Frustrating pharmacy website fails medical needs
I'm completely frustrated because their online medication ordering system has been non-functional for an extended period. To make matters worse, they're refusing to accept phone orders as an alternative.

Terrible healthcare with zero compassion or competence
This medical practice is an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The receptionists and doctors display an appalling level of unprofessionalism and disregard for patients. They deliberately dodge phone calls for scheduling, waiting until appointment windows close before claiming you're too late. The entire staff comes across as patronizing and hostile. The physicians seem woefully incompetent, appearing to have zero medical training or understanding. They consistently challenge long-standing medical diagnoses and are incredibly resistant to prescribing appropriate treatments. Their complete lack of care and competence is shocking. I strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this utterly dysfunctional healthcare facility.

Worst medical practice ever shocking healthcare experience
With fierce competition, this GP practice might just clinch the title of the most incompetent in the United Kingdom. My father and his friend were well aware of their inadequacy, which I overheard them discussing. Throughout his medical journey, he rarely, if ever, saw an actual doctor, being limited to interactions with nurses. They eagerly administered covid vaccinations without proper informed consent, while simultaneously overlooking his chronic kidney disease and failing to communicate crucial information to Morriston Hospital during his admission for respiratory issues. Their recklessness reached new heights by prescribing Vitamin D with calcium to a patient with coronary artery disease - essentially setting the stage for a potentially fatal complication! To compound their negligence, they demanded documentary evidence from me following my father's death, and then proceeded to completely disregard all my subsequent correspondence. The pervasive lack of professional ethics and compassion within the medical community today is profoundly disturbing.

Worst medical practice ever run by greedy administrators
I've been a patient at this practice since the time of Dr. Bogdon, spanning many years. The new management group is entirely focused on financial gain, as confirmed by a former doctor from the practice. I've submitted two separate complaints requesting a meeting with the practice manager, but to no avail. The administrative staff are absolutely terrible, and the practice is notorious for misplacing important documents. Prescriptions frequently disappear, forcing me to chase them at the surgery and via email, and I now have documentation proving my prescription orders. This entire practice desperately needs a complete overhaul and restructuring, with a clear focus on patient care rather than profit. The abundance of negative reviews should make the management deeply embarrassed about their current operations.

Friendly staff make medical experience truly pleasant
Individually, they have been exceptional in their service to me. While the process can be somewhat lengthy, every staff member I've interacted with has been incredibly kind. I have absolutely no complaints about this surgical practice.

Rude receptionist ruins entire customer experience
The receptionist LAURA displayed an incredibly unprofessional demeanor and became defensive when I requested her last name, clearly attempting to avoid accountability for her poor customer service. This establishment is utterly ridiculous and not worth anyone's time or money.

Horrible service and worst customer experience ever
I'd give zero stars if possible. But the system requires at least one star. The staff is absolutely repulsive beyond description. They consistently deflect blame and refuse to acknowledge their own mistakes.

Frustrating healthcare system fails patients completely
Unable to schedule a consultation due to the inconvenient 8am time slot, the entire booking process seems completely impractical. The medical staff demonstrate minimal compassion, leaving patients feeling frustrated and unsupported.

Terrible service and lack of basic patient care
I acknowledge that medical professionals have demanding schedules, but their dismissive approach is unacceptable. ⬆️ I posted this review over half a decade ago, and subsequent visits have continued to be subpar, with today's experience being the most disappointing yet. Once again, I recognize that NHS staff are under significant strain, but there is a complete absence of compassion for patients at this practice. The staff seem solely focused on minimizing interaction and rushing patients through, which becomes particularly distressing when you're seeking help for a child's medical issue. If you've managed to obtain your prescription in a single pharmacy visit, consider yourself fortunate - my recent experiences have required at least three trips back and forth to resolve prescription errors or complications.

Heartbreaking tragedy of medical negligence and loss
Well, what can I say? This GP practice should be shut down. I took my 4-month-old to see 5 different doctors on 6 separate occasions and received completely contradictory advice. Initially, they claimed it was colic and sent us away with no help. The second visit, they prescribed a milk thickener that was useless and just made the milk hard. Then they gave us Gaviscon for acid reflux, which they suspected she had. When that didn't work, the third time they again provided no solution and just told us to increase the dosage. On the fourth visit, they suggested lactose-free milk, believing she had a milk allergy. I personally thought her belly button was causing significant pain, so I returned to the GP once more. They prescribed omeprazole, which sometimes helped, but she remained constantly sick. The doctors seemed to ignore our concerns. Tragically, after 4 months and 7 days, she passed away. The GPs never bothered to refer her to pediatrics, where they might have discovered the underlying issue. Instead, we were ignored, and now we've lost her due to pure negligence. I absolutely will not let this go - this practice consistently disregards patients when they need support the most.

Terrible service with racism and no appointments
It's a complete disaster dealing with them. Their phone communication is nonexistent, and on the rare occasion someone picks up, they've already run out of general practitioner appointments. Moreover, there's a deeply troubling undercurrent of discriminatory behavior that makes the entire experience unacceptable.
