Decent service with minor phone wait times

Don't expect miracles elsewhere. Booking appointments has never been an issue for me, and I typically steer clear of Mondays and Fridays, but overall, the experience has been satisfactory. Sure, phone lines can be slow, likely due to a single receptionist handling all incoming calls, which naturally leads to extended wait times. After half an hour of fielding potentially challenging calls, anyone's patience would wear thin, making brief interactions understandable. The reception staff aren't to blame; they're simply doing their job. Trust me, compared to other medical practices in the Swansea Bay Area, this one isn't half bad.

Frustrating and endless healthcare communication nightmare

Endured a 25-minute wait only to be bombarded with countless questions, then informed I'd receive a doctor's callback. Unfortunately, my phone lost signal, resulting in two missed voicemails. When I contacted the surgery, I was told it was too late and to call back in the morning. I did so, but again missed the call due to poor signal at my workplace. Upon calling again, I was met with a hostile receptionist attitude. All I'm seeking is a simple doctor's appointment!!!!!!

Worst medical practice ever terrible customer service

Skeptical about the negative reviews? Believe me, they don't even capture the full extent of the problem. I tried to inquire about my son's medical details and was met with an incredibly dismissive response from the receptionist who bluntly stated, "I can't help you"! I simply wanted a GP to return my call at their convenience, but instead was instructed to phone precisely at 8 am to schedule an appointment. The absurdity is mind-boggling. It's completely understandable why so many patients are seeking alternative medical practices. I'll definitely be joining that exodus as soon as I can make the switch.

After a grueling three-month wait, my son finally got an appointment, only to be prescribed ineffective over-the-counter antibiotics that did nothing to address his condition. When I finally managed to secure a consultation through persistent complaints, I discovered that Dr. Jones had falsified information in his notes regarding my son's treatment. Incompetent pharmacy fails patient with critical medication

After being released from the hospital, I endured a full day without my antibiotics, missing three doses. In the morning, staff assured me they'd written a prescription and instructed me to return at 5 PM. I followed their directions precisely, only to discover they hadn't actually prepared the prescription. Now I'll be forced to go two days without critical medication in the middle of my treatment. The situation is completely unacceptable. This is my initial interaction with this healthcare provider, and I'm already desperate to find alternative care. The telephone staff's conduct was utterly unprofessional and disrespectful.

This morning I called at 08:31 and finally got through at 08:45, which was slightly better than previous wait times. I informed the receptionist that I urgently needed medical attention due to coughing up blood, following a two-week-long untreated cough. Now, at 18:28, I'm still waiting for a doctor's callback, despite the fact that the surgery closed at 18:00. Choosing this medical practice was clearly an error in judgment 👍🏼
