I felt compelled to share my experience with Wells Health Centre and their exceptional service. The level of care I encountered was truly outstanding from start to finish. The Receptionist immediately recognized my need for medical assistance and quickly connected me with a Healthcare professional. Thea, an incredibly skilled and compassionate Practitioner, had already consulted with Dr Northcott about my condition before my appointment. The entire process was remarkably swift, with everything resolved in just two hours after my initial call. I am genuinely impressed by their seamless teamwork and cannot express enough gratitude. The level of professionalism and efficiency is simply unparalleled.

Unprofessional doctor fails to provide compassionate care

Felt completely interrogated during an appointment while attempting to discuss a highly distressing personal situation where I desperately needed support. As I was sharing my overwhelming life challenges, instead of focusing on my medical background, the doctor persistently and aggressively probed into my personal stressors in a manner that felt distinctly like harassment. Dr. SERCOMBE's conduct is unacceptable and they should be disqualified from practicing.

Worst mental health appointment ever with dr sercomb

Dr. Sercomb's approach to my mental health was utterly dismissive and unprofessional. I attended the appointment expecting to discuss medication, but she showed zero empathy or concern for my situation. When she abruptly declared she wouldn't prescribe anything and I questioned the purpose of our meeting, she callously instructed me to leave. Her treatment was deeply disrespectful and made me feel completely invalidated. This experience exemplifies the critical failures in mental health care, and Dr. Sercomb represents everything a compassionate healthcare provider should not be. Medical professionals must dramatically improve their understanding and treatment of mental health issues.

Frustrating gp appointments that never seem available

I've been attempting to secure a face-to-face consultation with my GP for approximately six weeks or longer... Eventually, I obtained an appointment, only to have it cancelled. I received another, which was also cancelled, then reinstated but with a different doctor (when I specifically wanted to see my own GP). All my attempts to schedule with my preferred GP have been futile. Online consultations are perpetually at maximum capacity, even at 8:00 AM. Phone calls either result in 'no appointments available' or I'm left on hold and disconnected. Today, once again, I've had no success through any channel, compounded by the fact that no appointments are available for the next two weeks, and then the doctor will be on annual leave for an additional two weeks. I told them I'm absolutely done!!!!! PS I reluctantly gave ONE star (solely to enable posting the review) and am frustrated that the system automatically adds two more stars. I absolutely do not want to suggest three stars for the abysmal service I've experienced!!!

Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful staff

Every time I try to book an appointment by phone at the medical practice, I'm met with frustration. The staff appear dismissive and disrespectful, especially towards me as someone with dyslexia. Each call results in being brushed off, with available slots consistently pushed out to a week or even longer, leaving me thoroughly disheartened and feeling belittled.

Unhelpful doctor crushes patient's hope and trust

I'm utterly dismayed by the treatment my partner experienced at this medical practice. Having recently moved to Wells two years ago, this was his first visit, and he's not someone who seeks medical attention without genuine need. While the receptionist was wonderfully helpful in scheduling an appointment the following week, the doctor's behavior was shockingly unprofessional. She seemed intent on rushing him out, dismissively claiming nothing could be done, clearly hadn't reviewed his medical history, and even went so far as to suggest he needed to 'change his attitude'. Her complete lack of compassion has only heightened my partner's existing medical anxiety. He left the appointment feeling unsupported and uninformed, which is particularly disheartening for a first-time patient. We recognize the immense pressures facing the NHS, but when a patient who rarely seeks medical help is treated with such callousness, it's deeply troubling. Even when medical options are limited, there are compassionate ways to communicate with patients. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has significantly undermined our confidence in this practice.

Terrible healthcare that discriminates and disappoints patients

This medical practice is absolutely terrible. Their sole response is to repeatedly tell patients to "wait because everyone is occupied," and they excel at discriminating against individuals from different nationalities. I'm astounded that no action has been taken against them thus far. The staff's behavior is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. To see a doctor, you're forced to endure a minimum three-week waiting period, or alternatively, you can consult with an utterly unqualified nurse.
