Feedback on this practice reflects a deeply mixed experience, with stark contrasts between clinical and administrative performance. When patients access care, medical staff consistently receive praise for clinical expertise, compassion, and responsiveness to urgent needs. However, significant frustration centres on appointment access and booking systems, with patients reporting lengthy phone queues, ineffective online platforms, and communication failures that create substantial barriers to care. Reception experience varies considerably, with some describing helpful and professional interactions while others report dismissive attitudes and lack of courtesy.
Appointment availability emerges as the most persistent concern across reviews, with patients describing impossible scheduling processes, extended waiting times, and redirects to alternative services. The practice's administrative systems—including triage procedures, callback arrangements, and booking mechanisms—generate repeated complaints about inefficiency and poor organisation. Several patients note that despite appreciating the quality of clinical care once accessed, the administrative obstacles are so significant they have switched providers or actively avoid using the service.
Positive feedback highlights staff warmth, professional medical care, and efficient test processing when systems function smoothly. Longer-term patients often report satisfaction with continuity and clinical outcomes. The contrast between clinical quality and administrative dysfunction suggests systemic issues in practice management rather than individual staff capability, with particular concern around appointment access creating barriers that may delay necessary medical care.

Terrible service and zero help at wells practice centre
I'm deeply disappointed with the Wells practice centre. The phone wait was unbearable, and after enduring such a long hold time, I was simply told there are no appointments available today, tomorrow, or even next week. Their advice was to go directly to the hospital and not to bother calling again. They offered a half-hearted apology, but it felt completely meaningless given the terrible service.

Frustrating wait for covid vaccine letter
Incredibly frustrating bureaucratic process where I'm experiencing a ridiculous 4-6 week wait for a covid vaccine verification letter, while other medical facilities routinely generate similar documentation within a single day's timeframe.

Terrible customer service with endless phone wait times
This service is an absolute mockery. Attempting to contact their AM support means enduring a minimum 45-minute phone queue. The real frustration comes when you're abruptly disconnected just as you're next in line, forcing you to restart the entire exhausting process. As of this morning, I've already wasted 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting on hold.

Worst healthcare experience ever terrible service
An absolute zero-star experience would be more fitting for this so-called "medical practice." It's laughable to even refer to this place as a healthcare facility. No matter what medical concern you bring, expect zero assistance or support. The level of unprofessionalism is beyond belief. Steer clear of this place entirely. And let's not even start on the receptionists - their attitude is shockingly disrespectful and completely unhelpful. Truly embarrassing from start to finish.

Smooth and welcoming medical practice experience
The staff at this medical practice were welcoming and supportive during the registration process. The nurses, physician, and front desk personnel were all extremely pleasant and accommodating.

Terrible practice with dangerous receptionist gatekeeping
This medical practice is an absolute disaster. The front desk staff display a shocking lack of professionalism and are inappropriately involved in patient care decisions, even for children. I attempted to schedule an appointment for my daughter following concerning blood test results that suggest a potentially serious condition. Despite receiving a message requesting a consultation, the receptionist flatly stated no appointments were available. As the fifth caller in line, I am deeply disturbed by how unqualified personnel are arbitrarily determining patient access to medical care. These receptionists have zero medical training yet seem empowered to make critical healthcare screening decisions, which is completely unacceptable. The level of incompetence is staggering. Anyone considering this practice should absolutely look elsewhere. The quality of healthcare here is dangerously compromised by unprofessional, unskilled, and seemingly negligent staff who appear more interested in bureaucratic obstacles than patient welfare.

Compassionate care from a wonderful medical team
Dr. Adegoke provided exceptional medical care during my recent visit, demonstrating remarkable compassion and expertise that truly impressed me. The administrative team was equally commendable, maintaining a high standard of courtesy and efficiency even under the challenging circumstances of the ongoing pandemic. Their dedication and supportive approach made my healthcare experience both comfortable and reassuring. I am sincerely appreciative of the outstanding service and professionalism displayed by the entire medical practice.

Frustrating access but wonderful healthcare professionals
Recently, I've found myself needing to update my previous assessment. Scheduling an appointment with this practice has become incredibly challenging over the past few months. They consistently redirect patients to 111, Beckenham Beacon, or the emergency room, even in situations like my 11-month-old's ear infection requiring antibiotic treatment. Despite these scheduling difficulties, the medical staff are exceptional. The doctors and nurses are highly competent and genuinely caring. Dr. Singh and Dr. Paul have been particularly impressive, and nurses Rosie and Barbara always manage to brighten my visits with their warmth and professionalism.

Dangerous medical practice with zero accountability
I regrettably concur with the sentiments expressed by fellow patients - this medical facility is rife with professional carelessness, and when concerns are raised, the staff demonstrates complete apathy towards addressing errors or improving their approach. Steer clear at all costs.

Terrible service at medical clinic avoid at all costs
Spent over an hour waiting only to be informed that all appointments for the day were fully booked. Advised to call back tomorrow. The receptionist displayed a dismissive attitude and failed to communicate effectively. When I requested to speak with a manager, they were equally unhelpful and seemed to disregard my concerns entirely.

Exceptional care and quick service at this clinic
As a newcomer to this medical practice, I'm thoroughly impressed by the staff's professionalism and warmth. The reception team has been incredibly welcoming, and both female physicians I've consulted have been outstanding, consistently delivering on their promises with precise follow-through. My blood work results were processed rapidly, with a prompt text notification within a day of testing.

Terrible healthcare experience at this medical practice
Absolutely terrible primary care practice. It's like the physicians have vanished into thin air, providing zero medical support or accessibility.

Poor!
Mediocre medical options in a challenging neighborhood
If you reside in Sydenham, you're limited to two NHS GP practices - Sydenham Green, which is terrible but does offer a blood testing service, and Wells Park, which is marginally less terrible. The administrative team at Wells Park at least makes an effort to be supportive, though not always achieving their goal. Apart from avoiding moving to Sydenham altogether, I'm at a loss for alternative recommendations.

Frustrating booking process leaves patient without care
Attempting to schedule an appointment has been incredibly frustrating. The website offers two booking methods, both requiring app downloads, account creation, and navigation, yet neither actually permits booking for this physician. While I acknowledge the current pressures on the NHS and have previously experienced excellent clinical care, the administrative processes are unacceptably poor. The website is fundamentally misleading and wastes patients' time. I'm now completely unable to reach the medical practice - phone lines are perpetually unresponsive, and online booking systems are non-functional. This level of administrative incompetence is deeply problematic and needs immediate addressing.

Frustrating healthcare experience with impossible appointment booking
I've been attempting to schedule a telephone consultation for two consecutive days, as it's practically impossible to secure a doctor's appointment at this clinic. I've exhausted all communication channels - sending emails and trying to book online - all seeking a phone consultation. After persistent efforts, I finally got through to someone, only to be informed that no appointments are available until Friday, and I was lectured that I should have called at 8am. The irony is, I've been dialing since 8am, and it took me a staggering 1 hour and 20 minutes just to get through on the phone! 🙄

Friendly nurses made my covid vaccine experience great
My COVID vaccine experience at Sydenham Green was excellent. The nurses from Wells Park - Barbara, Sky, and Gella - were incredibly professional and cheerful. They put me at ease, thoroughly explained the process, and truly brightened my day. I'm genuinely grateful for their wonderful care.

Frustrating vaccine experience wasted time and money
Typically, I've experienced no issues. However, today you sent me a text instructing me to arrive between 2:30 PM and 5:45 PM for a flu shot. I booked a taxi, reached the location at 3:55 PM, and discovered a sign stating that vaccinations ceased at 3:30 PM. I then had to take another cab back, incurring an additional £11 expense. Why didn't you notify everyone that you had stopped administering vaccines and prevent unnecessary trips? This is completely unacceptable!
