Reception staff were kind, but doctors didn't listen

I would recommend looking elsewhere for your healthcare needs. I can only give one star because some of the reception team were pleasant. One clinician was adequate over the phone but failed to follow through on promised prescriptions. Another clinician fell short of expectations as a practitioner. In my experience, they did not listen carefully to my concerns, did not treat my reported symptoms with appropriate seriousness, and attributed physical symptoms to psychological causes. When I was unable to tolerate a prescribed treatment, they were unwilling to explore alternative options and seemed indifferent to my ongoing distress. I am uncertain whether this approach applies universally or to specific patient groups. I am puzzled by the practice's reputation for managing long-term conditions and mental health support, as neither received adequate attention during my visits.

Staff are kind but prescription system is chaotic

The team here are genuinely pleasant and accommodating, however the practice itself presents some real challenges. Repeat medications seem to disappear from online accounts without warning, which means when attempting to request them through the system they simply aren't available. This then requires several days of back-and-forth contact with the surgery, only to be informed that medication would never be discontinued, despite this occurring on multiple occasions. Abruptly stopping certain medications is inadvisable, yet this is what happens when prescriptions face delays. The surgery repeatedly assures you the request has been processed, so you visit the pharmacy only to discover nothing has been dispensed. Returning to the surgery results in being told authorisation hasn't been completed yet, with instructions to return another day or ring at a specific time to check progress. Finding time to manage this cycle is unrealistic. The practice really needs to address these recurring issues, as this pattern has happened more than once and creates unnecessary stress and inconvenience for patients.

Cancelled multiple times with healthcare staff wow!!!! Next appointment scheduled, been waiting since June when due to illness the appointment was cancelled, again due to traffic delays, and again today as the staff member is no longer available Service disappointing
