Whenever I submit a request, I'm consistently contacted via text or phone within just five minutes. Given my ongoing medical condition, I find this surgery incredibly supportive. I've interacted with multiple reception staff members who have been exceptionally helpful and professional. Doctor Edwards, in particular, has been absolutely remarkable - I truly don't know how I would have managed without his care. Additionally, this surgery provided outstanding service to my parents before they passed away, and they continue to care for my husband. We have all received exceptional treatment, and I am genuinely grateful.

Shocking medical negligence from westbourne medical centre

OUTRAGED!!😡😡 My spouse experienced a stroke at Marco Polo Airport, Venice, Italy on October 28th. The Italian medical team swiftly transported her to dell'Angelo hospital in Mestre, rushing directly from ambulance to surgery, and immediately performed the clot removal from her brain. She remained hospitalized for 12 days, which included a heart examination via wrist catheterization. She's been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation and prescribed three medications, two taken twice daily. We returned home on November 13th. Our insurance company deemed her condition so critical that she must fly back from Venice accompanied by a physician. No room for discussion, a doctor was mandated to accompany her. She was instructed to see her GP immediately, request a referral letter, and schedule a cardiologist appointment ASAP!! Doesn't this sound extremely serious and worrying?? Apparently not to Westbourne Medical Centre…the best appointment slot they offered before our departure was November 28th. Incredibly, despite my wife's medical emergency, they suggested waiting over TWO WEEKS for a REFERRAL LETTER?!!?? We've resided nearby for over two years and have never even ENCOUNTERED our GP, that's how rarely we seek medical attention. Calling us "appalled" at this callous and unhelpful service would be an understatement!! The medical staff at the (absolutely fantastic) dell'Angelo Ospedale advised my wife to "simply relax and take things very easy moving forward". One can only imagine how much this bureaucratic hesitation by WMC has truly calmed her nerves…😠😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡

Although the steroid injection was administered, I haven't experienced significant improvement, so I plan to schedule another follow-up appointment.

Incompetent doctor failed to diagnose fatal cancer

I strongly recommend seeking an alternative physician if assigned to DR SHINY KUZHIVELI. My dear aunt was repeatedly dismissed and made to feel insignificant. Our attempts to change doctors with the practice were met with frustration and resistance. She was experiencing excruciating pain. Wailing and weeping uncontrollably throughout each day. The doctor casually attributed her suffering to sciatica. After persistently calling for a hospital appointment and sharing video evidence of her distress, she finally received an MRI. Tragically, she was diagnosed with secondary cancer and passed away just two and a half months later. While some medical professionals at this practice are exceptional, I sincerely hope no one else endures such a devastating experience. I will forever be perplexed as to why her general practitioner never initiated an MRI referral. My heart is utterly shattered.

I was a patient at this medical facility during the years 2013-2014. I had an appointment with Dr Galloway to discuss the excruciating gynecological pain I had been experiencing at night for several years prior. Regrettably, Dr Galloway dismissed my concerns entirely. He claimed there was no physical issue and suggested my symptoms were merely an attention-seeking behavior, supposedly linked to the loss of my disabled brother who had received significant parental attention. I was so stunned that I couldn't respond, and I felt utterly devastated by his lack of belief in my experience. I continued to endure these pains, and upon relocating the following year, I registered with St Albans's Medical Centre. Immediately, I was diagnosed with Cervical Erosion and received appropriate treatment that ultimately resolved the condition. I wish I could say this was an isolated incident at the practice, but unfortunately, it was not. In 2014, I consulted a duty doctor at Westbourne Medical Centre seeking a sick note for a new job I was struggling with. I explained to the GP that I was experiencing sleeplessness and dealing with the traumatic aftermath of my father's murder and the ongoing murder trial. The doctor simply told me to "pull myself together" and refused to provide the sick note. I recognize this review comes quite late after the events. However, I maintain that such treatment of a patient experiencing trauma is completely unacceptable.
