While the facility appears worn and outdated, we've been genuinely impressed by the warmth and support of the staff, particularly considering the limitations of their appointment scheduling system. When I recently expressed worry about a mole, they promptly referred me to the dermatology department at Shrewsbury Hospital. The entire process was remarkably efficient, with a resolution and benign diagnosis achieved within just seven days. Our sincere appreciation goes to both the practice and the hospital for their rapid and professional response.

Alarming and hazardous medical care. Two years ago, we received a transformative medical diagnosis requiring continuous assistance. A specific doctor at this practice demonstrates extreme unprofessionalism, displaying contempt, arrogance, and indifference. They've unequivocally communicated that our critical health situation is more of an inconvenience to them than to us. This healthcare professional is a complete self-centered individual who engineered a potentially life-threatening scenario that ultimately necessitated emergency room treatment. Shrewsbury Royal Hospital staff were stunned by the circumstances of our visit, recognizing that the entire issue could have been resolved in mere moments. Throughout our interaction, the doctor exhibited zero remorse, offered no apology, and showed absolutely no empathy or concern. Our experience is not an isolated incident. Consider this a warning about the potential consequences when seeking medical support. We will definitely be seeking alternative care.

Exceptional service beyond my wildest expectations

Initially skeptical due to prior critical feedback, I'm now thrilled I chose Westbury. This morning was exceptional - all my medications were prepared for pickup by 9:30 am (unlike my previous local practice, which was completely ineffective), I received a phone consultation by 10:30 am, and was seen in person by the same physician at 12:30 pm. I'm not easily swayed, but I'm genuinely impressed. A sincere thank you to the entire Westbury team for their compassionate and helpful approach.

Extremely outdated. Only accepts cash payments for prescriptions, lacking modern card payment facilities. Consistent problems with repeat prescription processing, frequently experiencing incorrect medication quantities or receiving challenging phone calls from the medical staff. Ironically, I'm consistently made to feel like an inconvenience when simply trying to obtain essential medication. The entire process is exhaustingly complicated. I'm definitively seeking alternative healthcare providers. The service has been abysmal from the very beginning.

Worst medical experience ever shocking staff treatment

Absolutely dreadful facility. I've attempted to collect my prescription on multiple occasions, and the personnel are consistently unpleasant and discourteous. One of my acquaintances underwent a blood draw at this clinic and returned with a massive, painful bruise, suffering for days from the technician's rough needle insertion. I strongly advise steering clear of this medical practice entirely.

The rigid approach of requiring patients to call precisely at opening and being turned away by a receptionist once the appointment list is maxed out is utterly unacceptable. Consider the absurdity if a veterinary clinic told you to try again tomorrow - you'd immediately seek alternative care. There's a complete lack of medical prioritization, with no recognition that some health concerns are genuinely urgent, ultimately forcing patients to resort to emergency services because they cannot access their primary care physician.

Terrible service and unprofessional gp behavior

I strongly caution others about this medical practice. Nine months ago, a general practitioner made unfounded personal accusations against my partner, labeling him a child abuser when he called regarding his children, based solely on malicious claims from the children's mother. This GP, who has never even met my partner, passed judgment based on these harmful lies, despite the fact that the mother is currently facing legal action for child neglect and abuse. The surgery has deliberately dragged out our request for phone logs for nine months, knowing we cannot easily take action against them. My son and I personally witnessed the GP's mistreatment of my partner, and when he filed a complaint, the practice retaliated by falsely reporting to authorities that he had threatened them - a claim completely contradicted by two witnesses who confirm no such threat occurred.

Discriminatory doctors fail patient and family

This medical practice is absolutely terrible. They have discriminated against my partner, initially denying his existence and then claiming he had no paternal rights. Subsequently, they made unfounded allegations without any professional qualification to do so. My son and I have documented all interactions with this practice and have prepared statements detailing their misconduct. They have committed slander, violated the Equality Act 2010, infringed on my partner's human and parental rights, and displayed extreme discriminatory behavior. Their claims against my partner are baseless and lack any substantive evidence. Moreover, they neglected to refer my partner's daughter to a specialist for a staggering nine months. During the final phone conversation, the doctor was incredibly hostile, labeling my partner as an unfit parent, showing no compassion for someone struggling with PTSD, and falsely accusing him of child abuse—despite evidence proving the children's mother is the actual abuser. Definitely not a reputable medical practice!!
