I recently joined this medical practice and sought an appointment after experiencing persistent coughing. I was assigned to Doctor Ceesay, who was thorough and supportive, conducting a comprehensive examination and ordering blood and X-ray tests. When I contacted reception to schedule a follow-up consultation to discuss the results, I was unexpectedly informed that a nurse would call me instead of arranging a direct doctor's appointment, which they classified as a routine follow-up. Reluctantly, I accepted and was scheduled for a phone consultation on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, between 12:15 PM and 3:15 PM. During the designated time, no call was received. Instead, at 12:29 PM, I got a text from a nurse claiming she had attempted to call me four times without success—a statement I found completely untrue. Frustrated, I visited the surgery and spoke with a receptionist, demonstrating on my phone that no calls had been made. We verified my contact details, and I questioned why the nurse, Sister Melgie Tuason-Bobby, was making false claims. The receptionist seemed unable to provide any explanation, merely offering to reschedule another phone appointment. I declined, stating that without seeing the doctor, I was uninterested in another nurse consultation. Feeling angry and disappointed, I left contemplating changing medical practices, as the staff's dishonesty and unprofessionalism had severely undermined my trust in their service.

Their onboarding process was incredibly slow, taking more than a month to complete my registration. The communication was minimal, with staff seemingly expecting clients to inherently understand procedural details like checking in at the front desk. I ended up spending 30 frustrating minutes in a cramped, uncomfortable waiting area, only to receive a text message informing me that I had somehow missed my scheduled appointment. Overall, an utterly unsatisfactory and aggravating experience.

My health challenges have been so severe that I've been forced to leave employment, unable to provide a concrete explanation to my employers due to the lack of substantive medical guidance from my GP. Every attempt to book an appointment is met with consistent roadblocks: when contacting reception, they invariably claim no appointments are available, instructing me to call back on Monday, which then repeats the same frustrating cycle. Most recently, the receptionists have resorted to advising patients to call at 8am to book "emergency" appointments as a workaround for routine consultations - a situation that has persisted for six months. All physicians at West Seven GP are excellent, but Dr Prevost truly stands out. Dr Prevost is not just the best doctor at West Seven GP and in London, but potentially the finest in the entire UK. I have never encountered a doctor like him before, and I doubt I will find his equal in the future. He is an exceptional listener, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his patients' well-being. I consistently show up for my scheduled visits, despite the difficulty in securing appointments at this facility. For over three months, I've been attempting to uncover the root cause of my medical condition. Even after undergoing numerous tests and receiving what seems to be relevant medication, they have yet to explain the actual illness or identify any potential underlying factors. The appointment scheduling staff are completely incompetent, displaying an arrogant and discourteous attitude that is thoroughly unhelpful and dismissive. They repeatedly provide incorrect information about appointments. I've missed several telephone consultations because they were erroneously booked as in-person meetings, contrary to the information originally communicated. Given the critical nature of healthcare, this establishment desperately needs significant improvement.
