I have found this practice to be deeply disappointing, both in terms of the clinical approach and the reception experience. The practice appears to operate according to its own protocols regarding emergency medication provision for respiratory conditions, which seems to prioritise appointment scheduling and emergency services rather than trusting patients' own understanding of their medical needs. This approach feels counterproductive to effective patient care. The reception team's manner has been particularly unwelcoming and unhelpful. I feel let down by what I would expect from an NHS service and am considering escalating my concerns through appropriate channels.

Reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful

Disappointing experience with disorganisation throughout the practice and a lack of attentiveness from clinical staff. The reception team were often unwelcoming. As a family of four with over thirteen years of history at the practice, we ultimately decided to transfer our care elsewhere due to concerns about the overall standard of service provided.

Quick phone lines and friendly staff throughout

I always get through to reception extremely quickly which is fantastic - the reception team are always friendly and helpful. Earlier in the year I had some bloods taken by a member of the healthcare team and they were lovely and really put me at ease. I had an appointment with a clinician who was great - friendly and thorough. A healthcare professional has just performed my screening test today and they were one of the loveliest people I've come across. So friendly, really made me feel relaxed and like they had all the time in the world for me! Thank you for being so great!!

I have regrettably found that my mental health concerns were not given adequate attention, and I have needed to request corrections to my medical records on multiple occasions as I felt the information held was inaccurate. I believe it is important that healthcare records are maintained correctly and kept current, and these experiences have left me with significant concerns about the reliability of this healthcare provider.

Prescription Department: I wanted to express my gratitude to the member of staff in the Prescription Ordering Team. On the occasions I have required support, this team member has consistently provided excellent assistance. I manage a dietary restriction and anyone with similar dietary requirements will understand how challenging it can be to find suitable food options that are satisfactory. I recently wished to switch to a different brand of a staple food item that I regularly order, and the team member listened carefully to my request and implemented all the changes I needed promptly. While this may seem like a straightforward matter, having things resolved with such efficiency and speed is genuinely valued when you are juggling multiple responsibilities in your daily life.
