For anyone working a standard weekday job, getting a doctor's visit seems impossible. On the morning of March 27, 2023, I contacted the office and encountered a receptionist with a notably poor attitude, seeming quite unenthusiastic. Her demeanor suggested she might be struggling with Monday blues, but if that's the case, she should consider taking the day off. Having recently transferred to this practice, I'm already experiencing regret. It's crucial that staff members separate their personal challenges from their professional responsibilities and maintain a courteous, supportive approach towards patients. This isn't an unreasonable expectation. My disappointment is significant, and this critique is specifically directed at the front desk personnel.

Excellent nurse but where are the doctors

Karen the nurse is absolutely fantastic. Yet, I'm increasingly skeptical about the availability of actual physicians!! It seems like an eternity since a general practitioner conducted a face-to-face consultation. I was forced to bring my child to the emergency department just to see a GP, needlessly occupying critical time meant for more urgent medical situations, which is completely unacceptable!! This needs immediate rectification.

During my recent appointment, which fortunately isn't a frequent occurrence, I initially felt nervous but ended up thoroughly satisfied. Following the guidance, I called at 8 o'clock and was informed I was fourth in line. A delightful receptionist handled my call and assured me the surgery would reach out. Precisely 45 minutes later, the doctor contacted me and scheduled a consultation for 10:30. While I'm aware this practice often receives negative feedback, I can only speak to my personal encounter on this particular day, and therefore, I'm awarding a full 5-star rating.

Terrible service that left me without medication

The reception team at this medical practice is absolutely terrible. After completing their triage process early this morning and receiving a follow-up call, I discovered the clinician had mistakenly failed to prescribe my essential medication. When I attempted to urgently resolve this issue and secure my prescription today, I was informed I'd need to restart the entire triage process with no guarantee of a callback. Given my work commitments prevent me from taking calls for the next three days, I now face the very real possibility of being without critical medication until my next day off. Despite a clear administrative error by their staff, I am the one left suffering the consequences. It seems they have zero interest in addressing their mistake or providing proper patient care. To make matters worse, the receptionist actually hung up on me twice while I was desperately seeking assistance. This surgery has seriously declined; their appalling front desk staff are systematically destroying what was once a reputable medical facility.

I've been registered with this medical practice for over a quarter-century. The compassionate and supportive staff are unfortunately overshadowed by the consistently discourteous behavior of a few team members. When I reached out to follow up on a repeat prescription that had been neglected for five business days, I encountered significant frustration. Despite needing only a straightforward answer about pharmacy collection time, I was met with dismissive and patronizing responses like, 'how am I supposed to know, a computer is just a computer'. While I acknowledge the ongoing pressures healthcare staff face, such an abrupt and unhelpful attitude was entirely inappropriate, especially considering the original administrative error was theirs. For such a simple query that could have been easily addressed, their rudeness was completely unwarranted and unacceptable.
