Reception staff were polite despite long wait
Attended an appointment on a Sunday to have a nasal issue assessed, as I had been advised there was a concern with my nose. The reception team were courteous and professional, and the staff member at the desk was apologetic about the delay we experienced. Although the wait was longer than initially indicated, I understood this was due to circumstances beyond their control. When called through, I was seen by a male clinician. I found his manner to be dismissive and felt uncomfortable raising questions about my condition. I felt he communicated in a condescending way that made me feel undervalued. I believe that holding a professional position should not excuse discourteous behaviour towards patients. I do not intend to return for my follow-up appointment at this practice.
