Reception staff wouldn't listen to my concerns
I have been a patient at this practice for over two decades. While the service has generally been satisfactory historically, I have recently experienced difficulties with some of the front desk staff who have been dismissive of my enquiries and have ended calls abruptly. The level of customer service in these interactions has been disappointing.

Reception wouldn't help when I was unwell
I recently contacted my GP practice when I was unwell and attempted to book an appointment. However, the reception staff were unable to schedule me in and instead suggested I call back the following morning at a specific time. When I explained that I was feeling poorly and unable to work, I felt that the support I received was inadequate. I wanted to express my concern that when someone is ill and seeking medical assistance, it is disappointing not to receive the help needed in a timely manner.

Appointment cancelled with no staff available
Attended an appointment to have a blood test and arrived punctually, only to discover it had been cancelled. The surgery appeared to have minimal staffing available to conduct the procedure. Despite there being very few patients present and multiple reception staff on duty, there was no one available to perform the test. It was unclear where the clinical staff members were stationed. This was frustrating as it was not the first occasion an appointment had been cancelled. The experience raised concerns about service availability and resource allocation within the practice.

Reception staff couldn't help with rude appointment experience
I have to say after years of appointments and visits, I had the worst experience. One particular clinician was among the rudest and most disrespectful people I have encountered there. I was absolutely disappointed with the service provided during my visit and felt treated unfairly in multiple ways. I have never experienced such rudeness from a healthcare professional who is supposed to offer guidance and support. I will be ensuring I do not use their services again. I am deeply upset about this.

Receptionists hang up and leave you in queue
I found my experience with this GP practice to be very disappointing. Some of the reception staff displayed unhelpful attitudes. Obtaining appointments proved extremely difficult, even for urgent healthcare needs. I waited several weeks before securing an initial appointment, and a necessary follow-up appointment has still not been arranged. My attempts to contact the practice by phone were frustrating, involving extended waiting times on multiple occasions. During one call, after waiting a considerable time, the line was disconnected when answered, which has happened to me previously. When I called back, I was informed of a very long queue. I have decided to seek care elsewhere when circumstances allow. I question why the practice continues to accept patients when it appears unable to manage demand effectively. Overall, I felt the service fell short of acceptable standards. I would encourage others to carefully consider whether this practice can meet their healthcare needs.

Long wait but receptionist was helpful
I attended the practice and inquired whether someone could examine a skin mark on my shoulder that had recently become uncomfortable. The receptionist acknowledged the request but explained there would be a considerable wait time to see a clinician, and mentioned that the practice would have limited ability to assist if the matter were urgent, suggesting hospital attendance in such circumstances.

Receptionists and nurses made my son feel at ease
I had read some previous feedback before bringing my young child in for a blood test and felt hesitant about booking, but given the constraints of our schedule, it was the only viable option available. I'm genuinely pleased we went ahead. The reception team were nothing but courteous and accommodating throughout. The clinical staff who performed the procedure were exceptional and deserve considerable praise. They created such a calm and reassuring environment from the start that my child remained relaxed throughout and barely noticed what was happening. Their friendly approach made it a positive experience overall, and every member of staff we encountered demonstrated professionalism and care. I'm very grateful for the service received.

Nurses took time to care for my wound
Attended an appointment this morning for a blood test. I had sustained an arm injury the previous week, and the clinical staff on duty carefully removed the existing dressing, applied appropriate treatment to support healing, and reapplied a fresh dressing. Their attentive and compassionate approach was genuinely appreciated. Thank you to the team.

Phone queue chaos made appointment impossible
Extremely difficult to secure an appointment, regardless of whether it's for a young person. Called at 8.04am and was queued as position 25, opted for a callback option, but after more than 2 hours passed without contact, I called back. At 10.48am I was positioned as number 3 and selected callback again, receiving a call within approximately 15 minutes, only to be advised to ring again at 8am the next morning. I pointed out that I had already attempted this approach earlier that day and had already used the callback service, but was informed that apparently some callbacks had not connected properly. There was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience, and I was simply told to either try calling at 8am the following day or attend as a walk-in patient. The overall standard of service fell significantly short of expectations.

If you're considering your first appointment, I'd suggest reading further with caution, as many reviews, though understandable, are written by those with lingering concerns, which may create unnecessary worry. I arrived feeling anxious after reviewing feedback beforehand, yet I found my actual visit to be satisfactory. I was pleased to see the waiting area was well-furnished with adequate seating. The reception staff were courteous and organised, with nothing problematic to report. The procedure itself wasn't particularly detailed in its guidance or communication, but it was completed effectively, which suited my needs. In general, it was a relaxed and uncomplicated visit. That said, it is noteworthy that a considerable number of unfavourable reviews are visible here, and it appears management has not yet made any public response or taken steps to address them.
