Due to these constraints, I decided to seek care elsewhere.

I recently registered with this practice and have found it very challenging to secure an appointment. The booking system requires calling at opening time and hoping to get through early in the queue. When I attempted to book, I was informed that availability was limited and the earliest slot offered was several days away, with instructions to contact them again at that time.

Reception barriers making it hard to book appointments

Haven't managed to see a doctor at the new location yet as I've struggled to get through the reception process. I did attend for a blood test and while the facility appears clean, I have concerns about the hygiene practices, particularly the shared touchscreen that patients with various illnesses are required to use, which doesn't seem to be cleaned frequently enough. When I attempted to speak with reception staff, I was simply directed towards the screen rather than receiving assistance. During the blood test appointment, the clinical staff member made some personal remarks that I found uncomfortable, relating to my appearance and suggesting I should be more mature, especially as they were explaining medical information I hadn't asked them to elaborate on. While this didn't significantly upset me, it did contribute to an overall negative impression of the visit. I've considered switching to another practice, but I'm not confident that alternatives would be any better. The medical team here are genuinely skilled at what they do, and I've had positive experiences with their diagnostic abilities in the past, which keeps me from leaving.

Second visit within two days, each time accompanying family members to their appointments. The practice continues to demonstrate good organisation, though the building itself could benefit from a more welcoming atmosphere.

The clinical team members are approachable and attentive to patient concerns. Healthcare support staff administer injections and conduct blood tests. The reception team demonstrates helpfulness and efficiency, with a self-service check-in system available upon arrival followed by comfortable seating areas. Once a clinician is ready, patients are notified via screen display indicating which consultation room to proceed to. The entrance features automatic doors suitable for wheelchair access, and facilities include a toilet in the reception area. 5 🌟

Welcoming clinic with helpful communication and easy access

The surgery benefits from an excellent layout with plenty of natural light and a spacious feel. Parking is readily available and the building is easy to navigate. The clinical staff were approachable and communicated clearly throughout my visit.

Noisy surgery location disrupts sleep

I reside adjacent to this location and am regularly disturbed by various noises including vehicle doors closing and engines starting. We were not informed beforehand that a facility would be constructed on the neighbouring land. The ongoing noise has become a significant issue for me, particularly as it affects my ability to rest during daytime hours. The disturbance continues throughout the week, including weekends.

Registration process was unnecessarily complicated

The registration process proved quite challenging to navigate. After managing to complete the initial registration, I attempted to book an appointment but was informed that this would only be possible if my status were changed to 'permanent'. This situation left me feeling rather frustrated.
