Regrettably, I witnessed firsthand the disrespectful manner in which the front desk employees addressed my ill Father. Their behavior was shockingly discourteous, displaying an abrupt and dismissive attitude that prevented him from expressing legitimate concerns about a medication that had been incorrectly prescribed to him.

Goodness. It's challenging to articulate just how terrible this medical experience truly is. The front desk personnel demonstrate either a complete lack of professionalism or are downright discourteous, and occasionally exhibit both traits. The phone wait times are ridiculously long and intolerable. Even if you eventually secure an appointment with a physician, the referral process is painfully slow. Honestly, if you have any concern for your well-being, I strongly recommend seeking healthcare elsewhere.

Handalage is absolutely terrible; I cannot bring myself to address someone as a doctor who lacks basic professional etiquette when interacting with patients. (She constantly relies on Google to diagnose patient issues, which suggests a complete lack of genuine medical expertise - a real doctor should possess comprehensive knowledge.) I have profound respect for medical professionals who truly understand and empathize with their patients' suffering and challenges. This general practitioner, along with many other doctors, demonstrates a shockingly poor standard of care. Absolute medical office incompetence! I attempted to schedule a callback with my doctor for an essential prescription, and the interaction was ridiculous. They suggested Saturday at 16:30, despite their typical weekend hours ending at 13:00. After finishing work, I discovered a missed call and message because I couldn't immediately answer. What are these staff members actually being paid for? The booking process is absurdly restrictive. In-person appointments are impossible - they actively discourage walk-ins and force you to book through specific channels. When you do arrive, their queuing system is shockingly unfair. I've witnessed other patients cutting the line without challenge, while I'm instructed to wait. It feels suspiciously like preferential treatment based on nationality. I'm not someone who typically focuses on discrimination, but this experience is making me question the fairness of their practices. The blatant inconsistency in how different patients are treated is infuriating and unprofessional.

Decades of loyalty ruined by poor management

I've been a patient of this medical practice for three decades, even before they moved to their present site, back when Dr. Sinha was practicing. Throughout the years, I've witnessed numerous physicians join and depart. While Dr. Handalage is truly exceptional, the overall practice is fundamentally flawed. Their appointment scheduling process is completely impractical and fails to meet basic patient needs. The fact that in November 2023 they are still exclusively offering telephone consultations is utterly unacceptable. I'm uncertain who manages this practice, but they urgently require replacement - their current leadership is clearly inadequate.

Frustrating healthcare with poor communication and service

Willow tree surgery's scheduling process is incredibly frustrating. Their phone lines are consistently unresponsive, and even when you manage to get through, available appointment times are non-existent. I'm completely baffled by their current system and the continued reliance on telephone bookings. Why aren't GPs seeing patients directly? When parents report their children's health concerns, the staff seem indifferent, merely instructing us to repeatedly call back the next day. It's absurd that they can't implement a forward-booking system, instead forcing patients to endure endless waiting and repeated call attempts just to secure a consultation.

A truly disastrous medical procedure. Repeatedly, I'm forced to verify if they've processed my recurring prescription. What's the purpose of email if they never proactively check? Whenever I contact them, they promise to dispatch the prescription by nightfall, yet consistently fail to meet their commitment. I'm constantly compelled to follow up and pursue them for several days just to obtain a monthly repeat prescription. Steer clear of registering with this healthcare provider.

Terrible healthcare that puts patients lives at risk

This medical practice is absolutely dreadful. They show zero commitment to patient care. From the front desk staff to the physicians, everyone lacks professionalism. For almost twelve months, my sister has been unable to secure a doctor's appointment, and despite experiencing significant health challenges, the general practitioner remains completely indifferent. She's been forced to repeatedly visit the emergency room instead. We've now discovered she has a serious medical condition, which could have been detected much earlier if the practice had been willing to see her when she made countless attempts to schedule an appointment. If any negative health consequences arise, this GP practice will be entirely responsible. They don't even deserve a single star - they should be rated below zero.
