Online booking system made appointments straightforward

I have had a consistently positive experience at this GP surgery with no complaints whatsoever. The team members have consistently demonstrated helpfulness and friendliness throughout my time as a patient, and I have found the online appointment booking system to be a valuable service. I have been treated by both clinical staff and doctors, and in each instance felt that I received appropriate care and empathy. Given that I manage ongoing health concerns, I have appreciated the ease with which I have been able to obtain guidance. The prescription request process has been equally effective whether using email, telephone, or the mobile application, so there is genuinely nothing I would criticise about the service. I have recently relocated away from the area and am disappointed that I must now transfer to a different practice. I am hopeful that my new GP surgery will provide a similarly positive experience.

Reception staff were kind but consultations felt rushed

The reception and nursing teams are wonderful and very pleasant. However, the doctors often give the impression that they view patients as an inconvenience and seem eager to conclude appointments quickly. They don't appear to take sufficient time to properly understand your concerns and can make you feel like you are the issue rather than listening to what you have to say.

Phone queue callback option didn't work

Disappointing experience trying to book an appointment today. I called early in the morning and selected the option to receive a callback when a slot became available, but this didn't happen. When I called back a short time later, I was told no further appointments were available that day. I found the appointment booking process frustrating, particularly the strict time window for attending appointments once booked. I would suggest not relying on the callback option as it did not work as intended for me.

Nurse made the injection painless

I recently visited the surgery for an injection. The nursing staff member was absolutely wonderful! They brightened my day with their cheerful attitude and administered my regular injection, which is always less uncomfortable when they perform it. They are clearly a valued member of the practice!

Reception staff hung up when hearing about my trip

I contacted the reception desk and spoke with a member of staff. When I began explaining that I required medication to manage my menstrual cycle due to an upcoming trip abroad, the staff member responded with an audible sigh and ended the call abruptly. I was taken aback by this reaction. I felt the response was dismissive and concerning. After waiting a few moments, I called back and reached a different staff member. On this second attempt, I simply requested an appointment without providing additional context, and one was arranged without issue. The contrast between these two interactions was striking.
