Excellent practice with straightforward communication channels. I'm able to secure appointments promptly for all family members during urgent situations as well as for myself. The clinical staff and reception team are consistently pleasant and helpful. I've been a patient here since childhood and have followed the practice through its various locations over the years. I have no complaints whatsoever and consider it the finest healthcare facility I've experienced.

Phone answered straight away, helpful receptionist

Although I was unable to register at this practice due to geographical constraints, I was very pleased that my call was answered promptly, the reception staff member was courteous and welcoming, and they helpfully assisted me in finding another suitable surgery in my area.

Registration process needed clearer temporary address guidance

I attempted to register as a patient at this practice, having previously been registered here. I was informed that I could not register or receive care due to not having documentation displaying my current address. As I am only staying temporarily, I do not possess paperwork with an address on it. I am residing with family members who share my surname and are also registered patients at the practice, and one accompanied me during the registration attempt. Although I provided a passport and bank card as proof of identity, these were deemed insufficient. The staff member's approach was straightforward but lacked warmth and friendliness. The matter was satisfactorily addressed during a subsequent visit, which is why I have adjusted my rating accordingly. ⭐

Surgery has declined since Covid restrictions

The practice has deteriorated significantly over recent years. The process of having to listen through mandatory preliminary assessments before reaching clinical staff is frustrating, and even after that step, you're often informed that same-day availability isn't possible. Rather than simply checking the schedule and booking the next available slot, the practice refuses to do so, citing their standard procedures. This inflexibility feels like an unwillingness to accommodate patient needs, particularly since the pandemic. Instead, patients are routinely redirected to alternative urgent care facilities elsewhere in the area. The overall approach feels dismissive and lacks genuine effort to help.

The staff demonstrated professionalism throughout my care. Switching to this practice was a decision I'm very pleased with. At my previous surgery, my health concern went undiagnosed despite multiple visits. I felt quite anxious about the situation. Following my registration at the new practice, the clinician was able to identify the issue promptly. I'm genuinely grateful for the swift resolution. Definitely 5 stars.

Doctors more interested in screens than listening

I found the experience quite disappointing overall. It appeared that the clinical staff seemed keen to move through consultations quickly rather than taking time to listen to what patients were saying. The approach felt dismissive and unhelpful, and I had concerns about the consistency of my prescriptions, which were altered on a couple of occasions without clear communication. Over a six-month period, I was seen by several different clinicians regarding a persistent issue, and ultimately felt it was necessary to register elsewhere. There seemed to be a lack of continuity and coordination between different parts of the practice. On the positive side, the appointment system is reasonably accessible, with availability typically within a couple of days. However, this convenience didn't translate into meaningful care, and I questioned whether attending appointments was worthwhile given the overall experience.

New surgery won't answer the phone

I switched to a different practice that was more conveniently located, but I deeply regret this decision. The new practice is difficult to reach by telephone and obtaining appointments has proven very challenging. My previous practice was considerably better in terms of accessibility and service.
